  1. Oh no, he finally had a nice position to rest in and they’re making him hold an awkward pose again instead! Hopefully with the others sleeping he won’t have to be too strict about it. I really like the setting for this story, that Ren Yifei is a method actor and therefore ends up wanting to complete the wishes of whoever he becomes (which makes perfect sense, since he wants to act exactly in line with the character and their desires would directly inform how they act next)—it really sells the idea that he “becomes an NPC” and passes the instances rather than just being better at acting his role than everyone else and not wanting to work with others. Of course, I also just love his acting and reasoning, top tier content
