i cant believe a song died!!!! i think he managed to throw people off somehow…. oh maybe its just me overthinking but my ml sences are sort of tingling hahha
A song is used doppelgänger Jutsu card or something or maybe it’s “ghost” privilege

Welp, there goes my theory that the ML is A Song…
I don’t think A Song is dead. He’s only missing, not dead, right? I mean.. something just seems suspicious. And tbh i kinda thought he was the ML.
In this chapter he was stated as dead. Like how the 2nd grandson died and then his body disappeared that’s how Xiao Mei got a card, thats what also happened with A Song. After he died when burned his body also disappeared. So he’s not missing but dead.
Well, that how it is in this chapter
i keep thinking, everyone suspected A Song, no? The sweeper or lantern guy veteran, he really thought A Song was the ghost. I feel like the author wouldn’t show that unless A Song is an important character.. right? well, whatever. we’ll see.

I think the ghost is Song , after all he knew the names of the NPC’s accurately and called the protagonist Xiao Fei when everyone called him A Fei, showing that he was old enough for that, but if I’m not mistaken, the their body has almost no age difference….
