It would be fun if Saman reaches the conclusion “probably not him” and then in the end “so it was him!” And the reasoning behind this should be the ‘contradictory’ behavior of the NPCs, which would be the perfect veil for Yifei, provided a few events happen that further obscure/confuse things.
