As in to seek out the person to blame.

Translator's Note

A sarcastic question. He Jun can go find and blame their father, but what right does he have to aim his hatred at the other child, aka Zhong Lan?

  1. Uh, the Mini Games system is really something… isn’t it basically massacring people at this point? Does it need to consume life energy or what.

Also, about colors: depending on country and where they are used, they have different meanings and symbolisms. For example, flowers and the flower language. There’s also black and white — technically not colors, just the absence of light in two different ways. In many countries, black represents death and white life. But in Japan and China, white is the color of death, and for Muslims, black is a strong color.

There’s also the matter of emotional influence. Blue is always sold as calming color, and it makes people more cool headed and rational, but it is also a melancholic color. Meanwhile green is the most relaxing color, ideal for the bedroom and living room. As green is the color of plants, lush and tender greens, and also placing plants in your home, even fake ones, has a great effect. Red on the other hand symbolizes anger, passion, and impulsiveness. It brings up your blood pressure and makes you more hot headed, especially the reds that look more like blood, so it is strange how people think it would fit well in their bedroom…

Blue is probably calming because it is the color of the sky and the ocean — endless, mysterious, far reaching. Green is relaxing because lush greenery means fertile grounds, and that in turn means clean air, lots of food, and in many cases also water. Red is so hot blooded because it is the color of blood, and seeing blood triggers, to varying degrees, a “we’re being attacked” response.

In other words, it’s the Stone Age brain remaining in people acting up.

As for yellow, orange, pink, and purple, I know that yellow often symbolizes envy and jealousy or never meeting again, but also joy and happiness, which might be related to the sun, and the right shades are also quite relaxing; orange is more energetic; pink no idea flowers maybe?; and purple, especially deep purple, is often connected to nobility, but it is also favored by the church in some cases, and violet, the kind that lavender is, is quite relaxing.

    Thank you for the chapter~!

    • Other than color, flowers and etcEverything nonverbal or verbal can mean differently in different countries. I guess this is where you can see how the importance to culture and nationality comes to play. Not just in the same communities, individuals will percieve different meaning in accordance to their experience. One can say that I am just redundantly reminding but some forget this commen sense.A lesson in our Language class is how different gestures will be percieved depending on country. The interesting thing I found out is that countries from the East and West continent are almost always opposite in belief. As cat explained, in the West like Europe or America, black is associated with mourning or death, while in the East like Japan or China it is white. Looking at it in this larger perspective, I guess now I can see why these countries are against each other. Other than the “My country is the best” thinking. Because as a whole, their literally on different directions. But the world is a sphere, East can be West and West can be East.
  2. Well the system is really just trying to weed out many top players. Can’t wait for the next mini-game 🤔 thank you so much for the update! ❤️❤️

  3. So if we simplify things and assume each player invites another person into the game each day then that means the player base doubles each day. And it only takes 33 rounds of doubling before you reach a number over 8 billion (2^33 = 8,589,934,592). Now, dead people can’t invite people and you also depend on people opening the invitations and duplicate invites not being sent. So lets say each day only has a 10% increase in new people. Still only takes 240 days to get to 8 billion (1.1^240 = 8,594,971,441.07). Guess that means everyone in this world will be dead within a year. What a predatory system.
  4. hmm ranking the CoD above the ToD makes me wonder what rank the Evil system is at… it’s probably ranked higher than the CoD if A’Fei can use the powers in game and other players can’t see his bracelet 🤔
