    Also, I wonder if Saman will be in the next instance, and wether it’ll become necessary to unleash another ‘sin’ that the Ghost keeps. If that is the case, it would be good if Saman is there since obviously, his soul scent can calm A Fei down.

I like that even when Saman is being overly solicitous it has actual communicative intent—Ren Yifei may not be willing to accept his help, but the offers are genuine and the level of concern he puts into it actively influences Ren Yifei’s planning. They have a lot of confidence in their respective competences, it’s just…nice to see characters on the same page and communicating effectively, whether or not they’re actively agreeing or working together
