禅杖 chan zhang – There are actually two ways to interpret this as there are multiple types of Buddhist staffs. One is the traditional khakkhara 錫杖 xi zhang (different name but sometimes interchangeable with chan zhang) while the other is more weapons based with two blades at both ends. I assume Du Sheng is using the latter, but the khakkhara is also good for qi-based attacks (at least in novels and dramas)!
