  1. Honestly, Bai Yu, even if you want to be a villian, shouldn’t you be a little more circumspect? If he acts this way outside, I can’t imagine one of those hidden experts accepting it. And how unresigned will Mu He feel if his revenge is taken away by someone else wasting that guy?

  12. Unrelated but I hope Zhiwei isn’t another one of those protagonists that is homophobic. I’m so tired of Chinese authors writing characters who think being gay is an affront to the three views. It is an overused method to create angst and delay the relationship.

    Speaking of, is this book one of those that makes the protag refuse to be with the ML until the last 5 chapters? Oh god…I really hope not. Stuff like that makes me miserable. I worry because Zhiwei’s personality is already so awful… (● ´ ^｀●)
