  4. I just want to give my heartfelt thanks to the translation team for this novel.

    Unfortunately after reading the past 100 or so chapters, the novel has lost its charm, and I dont think I can accompany the team any further ;_; it’s not your fault translators, it’s just the novel is super repetitive, brainless faceslapping where antagonists/villains have zero depth… I just realized we aren’t even halfway through the novel.

    It truly has been nice journey and the translation has been awesome. Best of luck in future chapters!

    • While I agree it’s gotten repetitive, I disagree that all the villians have no depth. Instead I think they are too conceited. For example, the guys here merely wanted to kill the couple bc of revenge for miaomiao. No depth is needed. They didn’t just show up wanting to kill them randomly. And miaomiao herself was trying to help the stallion protagonist win against Jiang xu. That started this all. Most antagonists we’ve seen either had their own motives/confidence like the guy who wanted to sacrifice them for the array or mcs previous fellow senior disciples, were from way in the start on lower continent, or related to the og protagonist and heroines so of course they’d have a conflict. Most cultivators esp on the higher continents are so accustomed to getting their way via brute strength or family background that they aren’t used to having to think or strategize and are easily taken advantage of by liu mufeng who has struggled up this point from the lower continent as the weakest there. We see him doit by doing things like setting the alchemy competition on the gravity mountain, setting traps for ppl, or outsnarting those elders in the sect. I see it as the original story trying to force things back on track. Mc was supposed to be killed by first heroine while he was a weakling 5 root waste but hes still alive and stronger than ever so the world is desperately trying to kill him and get Jiang xu bck with xiao zhantian or also be killed. The ppl being thrown their way, in the mind of the world, should be able to kill them easily but mc outsmarts the world like i said before n such. Idk if that’s the case but it it’s how I’ve interpreted it. If I get too bored of the repetitiveness, I step away for a bit then return n read a few chapters at a time so it’s fresher.
