  8. I’m seeing a lot of foreshadowing in this chapter.

    I am also so curious about Xiaoyue and the baby’s fate. Obviously this is the butterfly effect because Xiao Xu couldn’t have been pregnant in the original timeline. I’m seeing Xiaoyue being the main babysitter while the two parents go on adventures. Before we know it, 20 years will go by and the baby will already be an adult.And Third Elder and Senior Sister having a bad end? I’m wondering if this is what originally happened or if this is going to be changed?

    • It appears Pianpian is reading the original timeline so I’m assuming that their fate is what originally happened. Which in that case their fate makes sense. In the original timeline the sect leader died so it’s not too far fetched to believe that Senior Sister, being his adopted daughter, got assassinated or something in the power struggle before or after his death. The Third Elder is strong enough to escape and die lonely somewhere else.
