1. My only complaint for this novel : Are there any normal ladies? (except the fourth aunt I guess)

   • Saaamme. I wish we could get a normal (non-blood related) woman for once.

     As in one that’s neither crazy for Mufeng or a straight up antagonist.

     I’d love to see a random lady who’s absolutely obsessed with crafting, doesn’t care about anything else and decides to tutor the golden insects after seeing the ugly tools they produce 😂

     • Your last paragraph would indeed be rly cool but I have a feeling it’s not the author’s mo unless we start seeing way more interesting ppl on the new continent. Considering the reputation of our couple on this continent, I’d find it more unusual if ppl weren’t borderline obsessed with being on their good side or with them. There’s so many potential benefits after all. Mc is a 4th lvl alch of high strength who can technically wash roots. Only the biased family ww alrdy knew was stupid would act entitled around them.

   • I used to kind of agree with this complaint until i took a step back n realized theres equally as many “crazy” guys. We are just focusing on the women. A big example is liu shen plus there’s all the other non female relatives n the demon sect leader son uncle etc. Yu piaohua is quite normal. Being interested in seducing the mc is very normal considering how strong he is. You have to remember that it’s more common for husbands to have multiple wives than be intent on one wife the way mc is. We judt know thst so think she’s crazy. Instead it’s more that she cannot fathom how someone isn’t falling over themselves to please her like every other guy has. That tends to happen a lot with beautiful talented women from good families which she is.

Mufeng is not like that, but that’s a rarity in a xianxia society that promotes narcissism.
