    The Wang juniors aren’t bad but the family still focuses on benefits so I can’t trust their goodness.

    • Most relationships are built based on mutual benefits so iys bot all bad. At least they know to show gratitude. Mufengs aunt was good to him so he repaid her in kind. Even if she had only chosen to be good to him for potential future benefits, she was indeed worth of return kindness. The wang family is similar. The three uncles n grandfather knew they’d wronged mufeng in the past but have basically done all they can since to try n make up for it by providing him help with the auction, housing etc. Mc returned their repayment in kind. However,The fifth n sixth aunt n their kids only ever acted entitled and disrespectful towards mc n ml so he gave them nothing. If they had learned to be more like the wang siblings; things could’ve been different.
