      • So true. If you think about it, JX is only the “villain” because he went against the expectations of his peers. The biggest reason JX became a villain was related to XZT. It’s sad that he was labelled a villain because he was monogamous and wanted his partner to be the same. The rest of the scum did not hesitate to condemn his “sins” even though theirs are worse by far.

        Orig!LMF was just a good, honest, hard-working boy but he was killed because of BS reasons.

        Orig!LMF and JX fates are really tragic in the orig!novel.

        • True. Though I don’t think the original ML was actually with JX at all. It was more of him stringing him along using the fact that JX was too shy to confess. It doesn’t make the original ML any better based on what he is been up to till now.

          • Oh no. Orig!ML definitely wasn’t with JX in a formal romantic capacity I think. It was actyally mentioned in the earlier chapters that he thought about making JX his concubine and using his connections (or something along those lines). Really fucking hypocritical considering he’s a fucking stallion protag. Ugh.

            I’m just happy JX got to be with LMF. JX won’t be used and LMF won’t die due to BS reasons (or well, the transmigrated LMF at least).

            I hope wherever orig!LMF is he’s happy and living a good life. Such a good, hard-working soul ended because of BS reasons… makes my blood boil.

          • This might actually hold as a theme for the entire novel I think…

            orig!LMF was a hard-working waste

            JX was a dual who wanted a monogamous relationship, and MSS also schemed against him…

            And then there is Dong Feipeng (who’s the only good dude so far) who had dual roots and was from a normal background (his parents are dead at this point)…

            The only other tolerable character so far is the son from Array city? Rune city? I forgot which…

            He’s not all that bad actually… pretty simple-minded but pretty obedient towards his father who I will call “cunning” but not in a bad way (he only knows how smart people – i.e., LMF – thinks and hasn’t done anything really…

            There is of course the Wang family

            Grandpa Wang missed his child and wanted LMF in the family but his stupid sons neglected LMF…

            Wang grandchildren are at least pretty good… they’re not really scheming? and they understand why LMF is like this…

            And then there’s the Fang cousins (sons of the Aunt who actually took care of LMF in her own way, too bad the resources were taken by Liu family)… not a lot is shown of them (only that they’re not that shameless, and that the brothers have a good relationship with each other and with the Wang cousins)

            So far, that’s the only ones I know of…

            Looking forward to more good characters!
