    I’m going to miss them. I actually wanted one, just one, little side story of them after returning to the real world. See how they get along in real life without having to go do those midspinning tasks and see how Hai Ri takes to dating/living with/marrying a celebrity like Sheng Canyang. Maybe even check in on Ansel in the Second World.

  10. Tysm for this translation.. I binged this novel all today and I think I cried like 3 times… I’m just a little bit confused about the ending? Hai ri’s memory changing was to include sheng canyang visiting him from 7 yrs in the past im assuming, but how did that correspond to sheng canyang returning irl at the same time? What did sheng canyang do in between the time he was a vegetable then when he returned? So many questions, the ending for the chapter felt a little abrupt, but at the same time it’s kind of fitting that we’re ending this novel of emotions with some comedy… I really wish we knew what sheng canyang was doing and canyang + Hai ri’s life in the real world after, but the end is not bad. This novel definitely touched me as well, I was going out to eat and thought of this novel and almost cried…. I wish sheng canyang and hai ri eternal happiness

    • Still thinking abt this novel ugh… how did such a seemingly funny story of a fanboy and his idol eating sour oranges turn into this behemoth of emotions… I genuinely did not expect the depth the story went to and now I feel like sitting on a hill staring into sunset and having an existential crisis with a cig in my hand…

So the reason Scy and Hr felt that they became too close too soon, like it was how it’s supposed to be that they had been together for a long time was because the future Scy went back in time to meet him but these memories will changed and he forgotten it when he meet the Scy who haven’t met him before. Like a full circle…
