I and My Husband Sleep in a CoffinCh60 - What did you say?!

On their way home, it started drizzling again. The purple smoke produced by Yi Yan was quite potent, and Wang Xiaomie slept until midnight before waking up.

After waking up, he quickly pulled open his clothes to check his chest. IYL 7R

Wen Fengjin, lying next to him, also sat up quietly.

A fair and clean chest, as smooth as tofu, with just a small mole added.

Although the feather pattern was usually not visible, Wang Xiaomie could feel that it was indeed gone.

To confirm, he decided to say a false statement to test the waters. oDprMz

But what to say?

After thinking for a while, Wang Xiaomie whispered to the air, “Bai Yu is very fair.”

A minute later, Wang Xiaomie, who felt no pain, opened his eyes, which were shining like two light bulbs in the dark night!

“Xiao Wenzi, Xiao Wenzi! Look, that thing on my body is gone!” He hurriedly turned on the small night light next to the coffin, opened his collar, and leaned in front of Wen Fengjin’s eyes.

“Look!”

“Gone!”

Wen Fengjin’s face still carried a hint of laziness, his handsome face cast a shadow under the warm light, making his eye sockets appear deep, and his mysterious pupils even darker.

He opened his palm, combed his messy silver hair back, and leaned closer to Wang Xiaomie’s chest. KvSImi

“How is it? Is it gone?”

Wang Xiaomie was overjoyed. That troublesome thing was finally gone! Excited, his face turned slightly red, and he didn’t realize that Wen Fengjin’s nose was too close to him, and the faintly cold breath brushed against his face.

And it was getting closer…

Closer and closer~ Closer and closer~ X yE2u

A few seconds later, Wang Xiaomie suddenly shivered all over, staring blankly at the silver-haired head of the rogue. It was only then that he realized Wen Fengjin had two hair whorls. As the saying goes, people with one whorl are good, those with two whorls are bad.

…The ancients didn’t deceive me.

Wang Xiaomie’s smile gradually disappeared, and he raised his hand to slap fiercely. Wen Fengjin laughed softly and quickly retreated, his originally plump and moist lips now glossier!

“You rogue, I’ll beat you up!!!” eUpuYE

Blushing, Wang Xiaomie pounced and started ‘fighting’ with Wen Fengjin inside the coffin.

In summary, Wen Fengjin unilaterally endured a beating while holding back his laughter, opened his arms, and let Wang Xiaomie bite and hammer him in his embrace.

After beating him for a while and feeling tired to the point of sticking out his tongue, Wang Xiaomie discovered his hands hurt a little, which Wen Fengjin took as a form of entertainment.

Wang Xiaomie: … TPga8J

I’m angry but helpless.

Wang Xiaomie huffed and crawled out of the coffin, ready to make some food for himself.

“What are you doing, hmm?”

Listening to this, Wen Fengjin finally let him go.

Wang Xiaomie rolled out of the coffin, gave a middle finger to Wen Fengjin who hadn’t caught up yet, and quickly opened the door and slipped away before Wen Fengjin could catch and spank him. Pm1gry

Wen Fengjin laughed lightly from behind.

Wang Xiaomie, who was descending the stairs, felt a chill down his spine and almost missed a step, nearly face-planting onto the stairs.

As he walked past the sofa towards the kitchen, he suddenly heard a faint sound.

“… Are you going to cook?” oD1srL

“Oh my god! Ghost!” Wang Xiaomie jumped three feet in the air.

“Are you going to cook…” the weak voice repeated.

Then came the sound of fabric rubbing against the sofa in their house. White clothes appeared in the air, as if in a horror movie. At that moment, Wang Xiaomie realized that his sluggish heart could actually beat so fast one day!

The light suddenly brightened. uTLCYq

Hearing Wang Xiaomie’s scream, Wen Fengjin, who had come down quickly, frowned and turned on the light.

Only then did Wang Xiaomie finally see that the clothes were not floating in the air; it was clearly Bai Yu, wearing white clothes, standing in front of him!

Wang Xiaomie covered his chest: “…Brother, not to criticize, but you really need to whiten your skin. No matter the cost, I’ll pay for it. Please buy some facial masks.”

“…Are you going to cook?” Bai Yu stared at Wang Xiaomie with vacant eyes, repeating the same question. feTxc4

Wang Xiaomie nodded, and Bai Yu’s eyes instantly became teary.

“Dage, hurry up and cook! I’m hungry too! I’m starving! Our fridge has nothing but raw food, and don’t talk about takeout! It’s late and the delivery fees for this area are so expensive!”

“Ying ying ying, I’ve almost eaten all the fruits.”

Having skipped lunch and dinner, Bai Yu, who was already a big eater, felt uncomfortable with an empty stomach and the acidity in his stomach. Sadly, his cooking had a tendency to blow up the kitchen, so the only thing he could manage was boiling eggs. gjKmBO

However, Big Boss Wen also didn’t eat after coming home, and Bai Yu didn’t dare to eat alone. And Wen Fengjin had strictly warned him not to go upstairs.

With his already limited brain capacity, Bai Yu sat on the sofa blankly, tearfully nibbling on grapes, struggling with the decision of whether to go upstairs and call Wen Fengjin.

This dilemma unfolded late into the night…

After listening to Bai Yu’s tearful complaints, Wang Xiaomie twitched the corner of his mouth, patted his shoulder, and felt a paternal affection that could be summed up as “I have a silly son.” gfVKhY

“Clean up the fruit peels on the table, I’ll start cooking,” Wang Xiaomie said, looking at Wen Fengjin. “Fengjin, are you eating?”

Wen Fengjin nodded slightly, arms crossed against the wall.

“Okay,” Wang Xiaomie sighed. “Just wait a while; we’ll have something delicious soon!”

Bai Yu cheered, shouting, “Xiaomie, you’re my adoptive parent!” 9jF3D1

“No thanks!” Wang Xiaomie looked terrified. “I can’t have a son like you!”

… …

In the kitchen, Wang Xiaomie opened the fridge and took out a bunch of ingredients. To celebrate—well, he didn’t really know what they were celebrating, but there were a hundred ways for foodies to celebrate with something delicious. tYn8i1

Wang Xiaomie openly spread poison in the dead of night, preparing a variety of dishes.

As soon as the pot sizzled, Bai Yu, smelling the enticing aroma and salivating, clung to the kitchen door and peered in, his eager eyes amusing Wang Xiaomie.

Finally, after nearly an hour, plates of dishes were placed on the table. abtfJI

Wang Xiaomie liked strong flavors—spicy, sour, salty—whatever was stimulating. This was the usual taste preference for most modern young people, and Bai Yu was no exception.

However, Wen Fengjin didn’t like ingredients like onions, ginger, and garlic that left an aftertaste. He also didn’t fancy excessive oil and salt. So, Wang Xiaomie indulged a bit and prepared two versions of everything.

One large and one small serving.

The large portion was for Wang Xiaomie and Bai Yu, while the small portion was for Wen Fengjin. K835on

Eyes red with hunger, Bai Yu found a ceramic bowl painted with cherry blossoms, filled it with rice, and started eating heartily with chopsticks.

While eating, he also took the time to give a thumbs-up to Wang Xiaomie.

Bai Yu: Like!

Happily munching away, Bai Yu’s face lit up with joy. His tanned face was filled with emotion, and little flowers seemed to blossom above his head. jEzpgv

To be honest, Wang Xiaomie felt a sense of satisfaction watching him eat. He found himself eating an extra bowl of rice than usual. With the presence of such a delightful companion, Wang Xiaomie also picked up his chopsticks and enjoyed the food.

Of the three, Wen Fengjin ate with elegance. Even the way he held his chopsticks exuded a dignified and carefree aura.

It was like the leader and two little piglets sitting at the same table for a meal.

Once they were full, Wang Xiaomie leaned back in a ‘Ge You’s slouch,’ while Bai Yu, contented, rubbed his belly on the sofa opposite. Rc6gSu

Wen Fengjin and Wang Xiaomie could stay awake without sleeping, but Bai Yu usually stayed up late playing on his phone or tinkering with his research. After the meal, with a full belly and no signs of sleepiness, Wang Xiaomie went to the fridge and took out three popsicles.

Since Bai Yu had eaten all the fruits, popsicles were the only option for dessert.

So, the three of them opened the French windows, sat on the small platform by the window, and enjoyed their popsicles while gazing at the moon.

The moon: … 1uyJsB

The cool breeze after the evening rain was quite refreshing. Naturally, Wen Fengjin couldn’t bring himself to lick a popsicle in front of others. Even if he could, he would need to find a private spot and certainly not do it in front of Wang Xiaomie… cough, cough!

In any case, Wen Fengjin wrinkled his brow and only took a few bites while the rest went into Wang Xiaomie’s stomach. Wang Xiaomie leaned against Wen Fengjin’s shoulder, licking and eating slowly. Some even dripped onto Boss Wen’s arm, but luckily, he didn’t get a beating.

The two whispered sweet nothings, and Wang Xiaomie occasionally giggled, while Wen Fengjin maintained a stoic expression. However, the pink bubbles around them were so overwhelming that it could drown someone.

Bai Yu, sucking on his popsicle while getting stuffed with dog food, almost sighed and recited a poetic line to the moon: “This hatred will never end.” R3NtUa

After finishing their popsicles, Bai Yu sighed while holding the popsicle stick. “Ah, another ‘thank you for your patronage.'”

“You should take a look in the mirror; you’ll see how tanned your face has become,” Wang Xiaomie advised him with a serious tone. “If you want to go from Africa to Europe, you’ll need to buy a lot more face masks.”

“…You make a bit of sense,” Bai Yu nodded silently. “So, here comes the question, who’s paying for the face masks?”

“Of course, the organization will cover it for you!” Wang Xiaomie patted his shoulder. “Rest assured! I’ll place an order for two boxes of the best face masks today!” QW2UD

Moved to tears, Bai Yu exclaimed, “Big brother~”

Wang Xiaomie held his hand, saying, “Second brother!”

Wen Fengjin, observing their antics, “…”

“Cough.” ExdX0f

Boss Wen’s face turned serious, “Hands!”

Wang Xiaomie and Bai Yu’s expressions changed immediately, and they quickly let go. Both of them were quite afraid of Wen Fengjin.

Wang Xiaomie promptly placed his hand back into Wen Fengjin’s hand, while Bai Yu nervously held onto his popsicle stick and dared not misbehave.

At this moment, Wen Fengjin suddenly said to Bai Yu, “Tomorrow, I’ll give you a box. Take it to find Yi Yan and tell him it’s payment.” apN1UA

Never did Bai Yu expect that one day he would be running errands for Boss Wen. He was taken aback but immediately nodded in agreement, feeling quite happy about it.

Since he arrived here, Bai Yu hadn’t had many conversations with Boss Wen. He still had a deep admiration for the seemingly all-powerful Wen Fengjin.

Moreover, being able to help someone, even with a small task, gave Bai Yu a sense of satisfaction.

This is probably being a good guy… fXCQBx

Bai Yu pretended to be deep and sighed at the moon, thinking: I’m really too outstanding and perfect.

How can there be a man like me in the world?

Hehe…

After sitting for another half hour, Bai Yu felt sleepy. He said goodnight to Wang Xiaomie and Wen Fengjin before heading to his room to sleep. 7GQdIs

“Let’s go to sleep too,” Wang Xiaomie suggested to Wen Fengjin.

Wen Fengjin responded with a soft “Hmm,” but instead of getting up, he lifted his head to look at Wang Xiaomie. The moonlight adorned his deep eyes, and his silver hair looked magnificent in the cold light, creating a beautiful scene.

The stunning man, smiling with an air of superiority, captivated both the moonlight and Wang Xiaomie in that moment.

In a trance, Wang Xiaomie stared blankly at his face. TKDncq

Wen Fengjin’s smile deepened, and he said, “Xiaomie.”

“Hmm?”

“Let’s go back to the tomb palace.”

“Hmm.” CmWbfE

Hmm… Hmm?!!!!

Wang Xiaomie widened his eyes, “What did you say?!”

The word used here is xinse. It’s an Internet word used to express distress, and translates to “my heart feels stuffy”.

Translator's Note

It refers to late-night uploading of mouth-watering food photos on Moments, which can easily result in stomach cramps, excessive drooling, and poor sleep quality among friends, family, and foes. It is particularly lethal in the middle of the night, when its killing power is at its peak. In Moments, this and PDA are referred to as the 2 key cancers.

What a funny explanation! I found it on Baidu.

Translator's Note

refers to the posture of actor Ge You in the 17th and 18th episodes of the 1993 sitcom “I Love My Family.” His slouch became popular and is used as a buzzword.

Translator's Note

A line from “Song of Everlasting Sorrow.” It was composed by the poet Bai Juyi and describes Emperor Xuanzong’s love for Yang Guifei (one of the Four Beauties of Ancient China) and his perpetual grief over her death.

  1. At first, I thought it was so fun that they finally went out to the world but as the story progressed, it got more and more boring. They had a lot more going underground tbh. The Mu guys are fun and at least the tomb raiders are not as boring as the people outside. The girl obsessed with weapons and her apprentice were a little interesting but then they also faded from the plot. Bai Yu is cute but his ‘cute dummy’ personality is not doing it for me especially with the constant mention of his dark skin and how it’s unsightly or “scary”. The author kept inserting it to the story like it’s very relevant. I’m not sure if the author really thinks it’s funny or he/she is just really colorist.
