  3. There are about less than 700 chapters to go. At the rate of 1 chapter a week, it’ll take another 13 plus years to finish the translation! I’m not blaming anyone but wondering if any other translators can help too. This is a long but surprisingly interesting and engaging novel so it deserves some attention and extra care.

    • I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s one chapter per week. My translation speed is dependent on the length of each chapter. While some are longer than others, I’ve been averaging around 100 chapters per year since I started around November 2018. In any case, no one wanted to translate this novel for several years until I came along. Since then, it has just been me and Charysa.

      Thank you for your input, though. It makes me happy knowing that so many care about this work.

      • i am also thinking the same! so sad not many seem to be interested in it, its such a good series! ive been reading since sbout chapter 30 or so, where it was about the same as RSCB, but that is long completed now meanwhile this isnt even half way done (i know its longer). i rly wish there were more ppl interested in helping translating this. but i also enjoy and appreciate the constistent quality translations. either way it has already been 3-4y, and ill stick till the end, even if its another 10. all i hope is that it doesn’t get dropped or mia stuff happening

I was originally hesitant but I loved the legendary master’s wife and this is a sweeter version of it to me so I’ve been following along closely and really appreciate all the work you guys put into this. I look forward to continuing to read your wonderfully done translation no matter how long it takes.

    • Yes yes why are not many not interested, finally someone said it, i see some novels with way too many translators, amd it’s cool, but this also deserves attention okay ☹️

  14. The chapter’s translated name makes me think of that Star Trek meme “He’s dead, Jim.” LOL

    Also, this part really highlights the differences in how our two protagonist approach things. Gu Zuo’s first inclination is to find a new patron and act as behind-the-scenes support still. Even though he’s essentially an omega-class telekinetic (in X-men terms) who can easily become a patron of others, which is what Tianheng is doing.
