    The beasts had no way to maintain their forms, and were likewise defeated! –> and were likewise dispersed!

    if one utilized a scorching-hot substance to burn the beast souls, the medicinal power wouldn’t necessarily be completely consumed. –> …to burn the beast souls, then it wouldn’t require exhausting all their medicinal power (to defeat them).
