  1. Wow the He Clan gets worse every time they appears… Idk how bad to expect them to get to…

I hope they’ll be able to help XTQ somehow 🤔

  2. I get that BQY was unable to put into words there. It’s not like the competition between He-guy and Xiao-dude is a matter of life or death, or even had some precious resource at stake, which could’ve excused a “anything to win” attitude. Rather, He-guy’s main goal is to showcase his strength…but the fact that his win is actually due to having a stronger backing, and the other guy having an injury…doesn’t really show that you’re stronger. After all, that backing is also applicable to any other young genius of the He clan. So what has He-guy really gained from this scheme? He certainly hasn’t gotten personally stronger by any measure, which is a failure in itself as a martial artist.

Anyway, translation notes: Bai Qingyi hurriedly turned to face Tianheng: “Young master, may I ask?” –> “Young master, please ask.”Was the one in second place always stronger than the one in third place? –> After all, wasn’t second place was still better than being in third place?

    • To add: I don’t remember if it was before this chapter or somewhere after, where Tianheng had counseled Gu Zuo that it’s always better to pick the option to personally advance your own abilities rather than rely on externals. But it does really fit here. Even if He-guy wins here, he’s opened up a slippery slope, where every time he encounters some difficult enemy/obstacle in the future, there’s going to be the comfort in the back of his mind that he can always use his clan’s resources to get past it. Mentally, he’s not going to be able to give his 100% because he’s already admitted that he can’t advance on his own. That kind of mentality is what’s actually going to destroy his martial path going forward.

Also, the post ate my spaces. Ought to be:

  3. If Tianheng wanted to beat HC’s, that HC’s won’t have a chance to win. If only Tianheng didn’t hold back during the tournament.

    Thank you for the chapter.💕

  4. the higher-ranked u are, the better ur eyesight lmaoooooooooo

  5. Wow! The author is really trying their best to make me hate the He Clan hahahahahah

If there is a time for Tianheng to destroy the He clan comes, i would just gladly cheer on and wont even mind the reason for it in the first place

    Thanks for the chappie! ( ˘ ³˘)♡
