3. 😭😭😭 I feel so sad with thus chapter. I am also really annoyed Dylan tried to trick Ye Mou. Thank you for the translation!

   • How did he try to trick ye muo? I didn’t see that anywhere.

     • I think they’re tryna say that Dylan didn’t really intend to let Ye Muo meet Faceless? He kinda bluffed that there’s a possibility to meet him when he actually thought there wasn’t. Which is why he was surprised when Ye Muo actually managed to get in.

           After Dylan attempted to get in the system says:

           [Greetings, Prince Dylan. It hasbeen some time. Myapologies, but the meeting isnot over yet and you do nothave permission to open these doors…]

           Then his response:

           Dylan didn’t seem surprised.He glanced down at Ye Muo.

           “Can we go now?”

           Finally after Ye Mou gets in when the uncles are on their private channel:

           He was worried Ye Muowouldn’t be able to find himand gave him permission tocontact him directly and enterthis place. It’s slipped my minduntil now because Ye Muo hasnever used them before…]

           Dylan joined the channel: [Youguys should have saidsomething earlier.]

           This last one indicates that had he known Ye Mou was able to get in the doors he wouldn’t have allowed him to attempt it. Yes, he doesn’t explicitly state that but it is implied based on his words.

           The point is, he never actually planned to let Ye Mou see his uncle and only made the attempt assuming it wouldn’t happen. Is that not a trick? Or a bluff as one other comment said?

           This implies that had he known Ye Mou could enter he wouldn’t have proposed the attempt. He never planned to let him see his uncle again even though he told Ye Mou “perhaps once”. That is a trick to me.

       • Yes, this is what I meant. Bluff or trick the effect is the same. He went there knowing that he wouldn’t be able to get it and assumed that Ye Mou wouldn’t be able to either. He also assumed that they would be blocked at the door and wouldn’t be able to get permission to enter based on his reaction of seeing the General there.
         • While yes he assumed they wouldn’t be able to get in, like you said, he told ye muo before that perhaps thet could see him so he alrdy made it clear it was something he never expected to happen so he honestly let ye muo know ahead of time that he prob couldbt succeed as he expected neither of them to be able to. If he was informed ahead of time that ye muo could unlock it, he prob wouldn’t have brought ye muo there in the first place bc he knew that norton wouldn’t have wanted ye muo there but none of this was him tricking ye muo or bluffing. There was never a guarantee. He said theres a chance and there was indeed s chance. You are both thinking way too deep into it n making Dylan look bad when he was merely following orders while also being nice to ye muo as best he could.

   • There was no bluff or trick though. Give Dylan a break. He only spoke the truth. He never expected for it to work n also said so. He said if either of them could manage to open it then they’d take it from there and that’s what they did. The only thing u could realistically claim he did wrong was not tell Ye muo to try himself after he failed but since he couldnt he didnt expect ye muo to be able to open it either so it prob nvr crossed his mind for both to try.

4. The necklace with the picture 🥹 its such a sentimental item especially for faceless uncle when he didn’t get to interact with his family for years. Lil bb ye muo can be happy now that he’s not going to exiled but he won’t get to see him much cus of the undercover missions too.

   Bb ye muo is such a collector tho, all the family members are coming back and finally the ml 🤭.
