    • +1 wearing glasses in the shower! Honestly, my glasses are like a second part of my body, like a prosthetic? Majority of the time I forget I have them on and whenever I unintentionally take them off, I’m always so shocked by how bad my eyesight is and confused about how I lived without them before. I remember going to the pool once and I had my glasses on because I wasn’t planning on swimming (because I can’t swim). I was playing with a couple of kids I was looking after, and I dunked (we were holding our breaths) my head, and after I got out of the water I couldn’t see anything and I was quietly freaking out because I thought I lost my glasses but I didn’t want to worry the kids. Anyways, I went to push my hair out of the way and touched the glasses that floated up when I dunked my head. 🫠

  9. You can definitely swim with contact lenses. I swim with contact lenses almost every day. Last time I went for new lenses, my optometrist was surprised at how healthy my eyes were considering how myopic I am.

    • I shower blind because I don’t like my glasses getting wet lol I always think a black spot is spider when its just a cluster of my hair or loose fabric (rip).

  11. Teo… I often go to shower and the moment I can’t see anything because of glasses i remember they’re still on. Also i broke like so many of them while sleeping that i didn’t remember to take them off before going to bed as i totally forget i have glasses on. And the recent loss was i went to beach for swimming… And forgot to take them off and lost them forever and they were my favorite 😭😭😭 so in conclusion, it’ll happen a LOT if you wear glasses for more than 10 yrs…

  12. Can confirm I go in the water with contact lenses on all the time, even if it’s not recommended. It’s either that or I’m blind, so Welp.
