    • 😭 Thank you for reading, I was also sobbing (you can tell because I’m going back and responding to week old comments because I’m in my feelings about the story wrapping up) 😭

  1. Tearing up while smiling like a weirdo here. God I am so investerad in this story!

I hope you decide to sell this story as a book, I am buying immediately, digital or print!

    • Honestly, the idea of people being invested in this is still wild. I am going to look at pdf’ing it eventually– print would be amazing but I think I’m a long way away from having the readership to support that. Seriously though, thank you so much for supporting this story and for being such a diligent commenter, it means a lot, especially on a first work like this one. <3

    • If you spend time on suffering, you should spend as much time on the happy ever after, yeah?

(At least that’s my stance, after spending too many novels looking for fix-it fics to get my fix after the story ends, lol).

My brain stopped functioning after the first sentences and now I’m just sobbing and smiling this is so adorable and perfect and xlsnxgkajdbqbdjdba

Thank you so much for the sugar and no worries, take your time with the poll 😂

    • Watch, the poll ends up in the extras at this rate 😂

I’m glad that the sugar isn’t too much for everyone– it’s fun to write self-indulgent stuff. It’s more fun when others indulge as well, lmao.

  3. I was having the random thought that some Parisians might have really enjoyed the chance to witness a Chinese wedding ceremony. I would, of course, make them bring food 😄. My brother and I had a double wedding in 1996. His wife and I planned it together before we even became best friends. It was very basic. Neither of us had a clue about tradition or etiquette or asking for help. My brother was a chef, he made all the food. My ex did the music, he worked at a radio station. My dad wrote checks. I got divorced later but my brother was like these two, completely smitten even after death (he hasn’t been subtle).
    • Wei Qiwan: “I’m sorry sir, this is a private event.”

Random Parisian: *Holds out a picnic basket with champagne and escargot and fancy cheeses.

Wei Qing: “The more the merrier, let the man in!”

Wei Qiwan: “…This is strangers with candy, all over again, and here you are, married and still happily getting in the van…”

Double weddings have always seemed so interesting to me! My wedding was small but very fancy, my parents was very friends-and-family, friend making the food and all. I think both can be great, it just depends on the couples. As long as the people there are in love (or there to celebrate love) and that’s the focus, I think it turns out well. I’m still too early in my marriage to know for sure, but I hope I stay smitten forever– we waited eight years to be sure (danger of meeting first year of college), so we’re hoping we know enough about one another to be pleased with our purchase for decades to come.

      😅

  4. I’m so happy for them I’m actually sobbing-I am so glad I picked up this book one of the best romances I’ve read-THEY ARE SO CUTE I CAN’T-
