Yeah, no worries! I edit the chapters as I post them and even after I edited that first one, I wasn’t happy with it. It felt like a summary, instead of a story, so I decided to pull it and re-write the one chapter as two– this one is all about brotherhood and the business, while next will be about Yue Fei’s Not-Birthday. Just wanted to give them more attention.
Guys hear me and my 6 am imagination out:

This is much better, in the detailed moments sense that brings us into the story. Wei Qiwan and the sea turtles is funny – I could almost see something similar when he had to pick up his kids from daycare or host toddler birthday parties. The magnet moustache office decorating is genius! And legally, you don’t have to respect older siblings unless their kids are watching. So I’m told. I’m the oldest.
Wei Qiwan is going to be little kid catnip and he’s going to be so happy and soft about it but it’s also going to bring up all his syrupy feelings about Wei Qing and he’s probably going to end up mega-overprotective because he doesn’t want to expose his little ones to the wrong person again.
