I have to say… the cat’s been a problem since the jump to ‘eighteen years old’. It was a kitten when he found it, and he was five at that time. Now he’s eighteen, which means the cat is only twelve years old. A twelve year old cat is in its prime, not old and withered… cats can live to be twenty or more years old. Mine was twenty, active, alert and thriving, when she got some bad food causing her liver and kidneys to abruptly fail, resulting in her death. If that hadn’t happened, she would have had several more years, at least, of healthy life.
This feels kinda random. Like the author did not know where to go with the story anymore, and chose the over-used system plot device to– do what exactly? Yeah. I’ll finish this, but the author is not my most favorite one.
