Actually these VA files remind me of when I was doing my own creative writing, and I used a software called Scrivener (which is super useful for writers of all kinds, it’s about 1 million times more useful than a normal word processor). Scrivener has a template for novels and in it are smaller templates for character outlines, short scene descriptions, etc. It’s really useful, and basically it can store all the information about your character (or scene, etc) in an easy to see format. It’s so similar to these VA file summaries that I’m pretty sure it’s an edited version of what the author may have used as reference while writing the story (but that’s just conjecture).
