The A in the Opposite Dorm Always Thinks I'm Pretending to be a BCh59 - End

“Why is there such an unpleasant thing as homework in this world?”

There was the festival in the holidays. Ning An had also been dragged out on a few family trips, though their parents would leave halfway through the fun and go to other places because of their different jobs. It was only when Ning An came back home that he remembered the vacation homework that had been lying in his inbox the entire time. AFD2T8

“Have you finished? Let me copy it.” Ever since he ran into Xu Yu Sheng who had also come to the library to speed through his homework, the two of them temporarily formed an alliance to face the homework together. Each person would do a portion and then swap to copy the answer, putting in half the work to get twice the effect.

“You write so fast. Wait for me, I still have this question.” Xu Yu Sheng shook his sore hand. “I really don’t understand. We do all our theory exams online, but why do we still need to write our homework by hand?”

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

“Our instructor said that this is to train us. I think that he’s just finding another way to bother me.” As expected, Qin Zhao had assigned Ning An with extra work. He could only gnash his teeth and bury himself in the pile of books.

“Sigh, who would have thought that the two of us, the top two in the grade, would actually copy each other’s homework before school starts?” Xu Yu Sheng leaned back in his chair and collapsed. “I can’t do this anymore. I’m taking a break.” h2Gcd

“Did you have too much fun during the festival?” Ning An continued to write at an immense speed, wishing that his hand could move so fast it would create afterimages. “I’m surprised that you actually didn’t do your homework. Don’t you always prepare for the courses in advance?”

“I was resting at home due to health reasons.” The doctor said that it was a slight pheromone disorder and resistance to the inhibitors. Xu Yu Sheng concealed this information from his family and followed the doctor’s advice to nurture his body for the entire vacation in order to avoid a sudden outburst of symptoms during the new semester. It was only when school was about to start again that he remembered his homework.

“Oh.” Ning An didn’t ask too much. There would always be inconveniences for an Omega who’s pretending to be a Beta. There were probably also side effects from the medication. “Then are you okay?”

“I’m fine.” Xu Yu Sheng massaged his wrist and pulled his sleeve to cover up the needle marks from his treatments. He them returned to fighting in the battlefield with his homework. “You still didn’t pull me down last semester. Do you want to continue this year? How about we up the ante?”

“We’ll be separated into different faculties when school starts. It’s not like I’m going to the mecha faculty.” Ning An also stopped writing. “But frankly speaking, I haven’t thought about it yet.”

Although Qin Zhao had reminded him before the holidays, he had forgotten about it because he was focused on dealing with the field training. Even if he asked his family for their opinion, Ning An felt that Elina would definitely say that everything was up to his own decision.

“Your instructor should be hoping that you go into the political faculty.” Xu Yu Sheng had previously glanced at the topic of the extra work Qin Zhao had assigned to Ning An. He felt that it was very complicated. “The enrolment for the Commander Training Institute has already closed. You can’t go there either.”

“I myself still want to quit school and go back to inherit the family business.” Ning An continued to write at a tremendous speed. “Honestly, I think that staying in an ordinary faculty is also fine. I can go home and inherit the family business after I graduate. Perfect.” tGz3FM

Usually, ordinary faculties were for those students who tested for other faculties but were rejected. After graduation, they could choose to enter the military and find another way forward by starting as a volunteer soldier.

“Showing off also needs moderation okay? If you let other people hear this, they might not be able to hold back from hitting you.”

“Then they also need to consider whether they can beat me.”

Xu Yu Sheng and Ning An glanced at each other and nodded.

The two of them were both very eye-catching. Which one was this person aiming for?

“Look at you.” The two of them left the library in the evening. Xu Yu Sheng counted the marks he made on his paper. “Just within a day of writing homework in the library, 7 people came up to strike up a conversation with you. That’s 2 more than me.” xPyQuS

“This means that you should reflect on yourself. As an Omega, your charm still can’t beat a Beta.” Ning An said this very quietly so only the two of them could hear it. “Let’s go find a quiet corner tomorrow.”

“Aren’t looks all from the mother’s womb? Also, I don’t want to have this bothersome Omega’s charm.” Xu Yu Sheng waved his hand. “Let’s go, let’s go. Go eat. We still need to continue tomorrow. My head hurts just thinking about it.”

Chrysanthemum Garden.

Ning An said that the deadline was their primary driving force. Xu Yu Sheng said that this was wrong. It should be that the deadline gives him courage, the courage to hand in this mess of a homework.

Xu Yu Sheng pretty much gave up in the end and just rambled on to fill in the empty space before school started. As for Ning An, he drove the night bus for several nights. When he finished writing, he felt that he could even fall asleep standing. MPeNkg

When Ning An came to report in his extremely tired state, Qin Zhao coaxed him into filling out a form for the political faculty before taking him onto a flying vehicle.

When Qin Zhao brought him outside a conference room, Ning An finally sobered up a bit. Denying the possibility that he had been sleeping walking just now, he looked at Qin Zhao and asked, “Instructor? Can you explain to me what is going on right now?”

“Oh, you’re awake? Congratulations ah.” Ning An noticed that Qin Zhao was dressed very formally today, but even if he looked like that, the words that came out of his mouth still made Ning An want to disrespect this elder. “Congratulations.”

“What the hell are you talking about, instructor?” Ning An also noticed that the people coming and going here were all wearing military uniforms, plus their ranks weren’t low. His voice quietened. “What is going on ah?” 38Onwq

“This is the military’s political department. I managed to get an internship opportunity for you. You also signed your name just now. Come, let’s start your pleasant early internship?”

Don’t write your name on any piece of paper when you’re not fully awake.

Ning An felt that he would always keep this in mind in the future.

Fu Ke waited impatiently for the start of the new term. He had already made his decision. After completing the remaining procedures, he hurriedly ran towards the dormitory building to find Ning An. ym6tEp

He really couldn’t stand seeing Derek that couple being extremely intimate with each other. Also, Ning An hadn’t replied to his message for the entire morning, which made him a little worried.

Then, he saw the bedroom that had already been emptied.

Just when he was feeling anxious, he saw Xu Yu Sheng who was moving rooms and got from him: “I don’t know ah. I didn’t see him. Maybe he really did drop out of school and went home to inherit the family business.”

Fu Ke’s mind was in a frenzy. He quickly ran out without listening to Xu Yu Sheng’s next words. secKWv

“…… Just kidding. Hey, hey!” Xu Yu Sheng was going to say that he saw Ning An leave with Instructor Qin, but Fu Ke disappeared before he could say it. Xu Yu Sheng thought to himself, “I seem to have caused trouble?”

Fu Ke was very panicked. He had never felt this panicked before. He wanted to see him, see him right now.

“Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity, but could you please tell me about this when I’m fully awake.” Ning An also knew how difficulty it was to get an internship in the military. Even if Qin Zhao really did have a hand in this, it still wasn’t an simply matter. It was just that he was a little annoyed that things weren’t explained in advance. After signing a confidentiality agreement for the internship, Ning An still had to head back to school to finish some formalities. When he got off the car and turned around, he bumped into Fu Ke who was hurrying out.

Fu Ke was also surprised and hugged him tightly without thinking. VCBwgM

“Cough.” It wasn’t until Qin Zhao made a fake cough that Fu Ke suddenly realised his own actions. He loosened his arms but then held Ning An’s hand. Ning An’s brain couldn’t quite keep up and simply let him hold it.

“Young people ah.” Qin Zhao slowly got off the flying vehicle. He looked at their faces and then the interlinked hands between them. “Understandable, understandable. I still have things to do so I won’t bother you guys.”

When Ning An came back to his senses again, Fu Ke had already led him away. Just when he wanted to ask something, Fu Ke suddenly stopped. They were now behind the school building; there was no one around.

“I like you.” Fu Ke finally said these words out. He didn’t dare let go of Ning An’s hand, afraid that he wouldn’t be able to hold it again if he let go. The words buried in his heart uncontrollably spilled out. “It has nothing to do with your gender. I admit that at first I noticed you because I thought you were an Omega. I apologise for my mistake at that time. But afterwards, I realised that I like you, simply for being you. Before, my future was just going to be me alone, but I now hope that I can have you with me. I heard that you’re going to quit school……” qpPcAr

“I’m not quitting school ah……” This reminded Ning An of the phrase ‘a double harvest of career and love’. He lowered his head and secretly smiled. For some reason, his eyes were brimming with tears when he looked up again. “And I also like you. I’ve like you for a long time……”

Fu Ke hugged him halfway through and only let go when Ning An started protesting with his fist. He regretted that he couldn’t hug him enough and looked at Ning An with a burning gaze. He tried to think of what to say, but the words got stuck in his throat. He had already said too much.

“Um, then what should we do next?” Ning An felt a little embarrassed under his gaze. How could this person suddenly hug him and be so clingy like a large dog? Ning An turned to look somewhere else. “Don’t look at me like that. It’s my first time dating someone.”

“Me too.” Let alone dating, it was also the first time Fu Ke has liked someone, although he has actually accompanied Fu Yue to watch many of her idol dramas. While Fu Yue was a sobbing mess, he was responsible for handing over tissues. Usually, after a successful confession, it was all — kissing? “Should we kiss next?” XkirqH

“Do you think this is a situation like when a groom can kiss his bride after they get married?” Although Ning An also didn’t have any experience, he felt that this kind of ‘confession then kiss’ situation would only appear in the idol dramas and romance novels that Ning Meng likes. There were even some where they went to the hotel after kissing. “Cough, let’s take it slow. I still need to finish some formalities. Will you come with me?”

“En, okay.” Fu Ke pretended to casually take Ning An’s hand, but in his heart, he kept worrying that Ning An would shake him off. Ning An was dazed for a moment but quickly grasped back. Fu Ke almost couldn’t control his foolish smile.

The students were concentrated at the dormitories and administrative building, so there weren’t many people along the way. Ning An explained that he wasn’t going to quit school. He’ll just be doing an internship in advance.

“Fu Ke, come closer.” Taking advantage of the fact that there weren’t many people around them, Ning An suddenly stood on his tiptoes and kissed Fu Ke’s cheek. It was like a dragonfly lightly touching the water. He quickly pulled back and peeked at Fu Ke, his eyes carrying a smile. opGX6P

Fu Ke’s brain exploded. Whatever reason and restraint he had were all obliterated. “You provoked me first.”

Fu Ke didn’t know anything about kissing. When their lips touched each other, he didn’t know what to do next. The two of them simply stared at each other. In the end, they only separated after Ning An bit his lip.

“I don’t know how to do this.” Fu Ke touched his lips. It seemed like he was still thinking about the feeling of their lips touching. “I haven’t kissed anyone before.”

“Although this wasn’t anything like Ning An’s ideal first kiss, so far, nothing had been within his ideals. His partner was a tall and handsome Alpha who took the initiative to confess to him. This was completely different from what he imagined. x6VAm7

But what does that matter? Ning An lowered his head and smiled when he heard Fu Ke say that he hasn’t kissed anyone before. This person was now his. He completely belonged to him.

“I don’t believe you.” Ning An raised his head and put on a displeased expression. “You’re so attractive. You really haven’t tried it with others before?”

“No, you are the first person I’ve kissed. Also the first person I want to kiss.”

Fu Ke was so serious even when he was saying words of endearment. There wasn’t the slightest fluctuation on his face. However…… CcIM E

My heart is about to explode. Ning An covered his face and thought: this is too foul.

“I like you.”

Chrysanthemum Garden.

“Me too.”

The end! There’s two extra chapters about Xu Yu Sheng in the future. Hope you enjoyed reading even though it’s kind of an abrupt ending. 3UwqyT

  1. … And it’s all? What they do after they start dating? What about parents and sisters? I feel disappointed. Such good story with such shitty ending

  2. Ah my heart is so sad it had to end so soon but God it was still enjoyable. Thank you so much for translating~ 😊💕💕💕

  3. It ended too soon ;-; but it the story was so satisfying. I definitely have to read it again.

    Thanks for the chapter

(Btw, anyone else’s previous and next chapter buttons gone?)

  4. it ended on such a… wellll~ thanks for the translation of this novel! ♥♥ ⃛ヾ(๑❛ ▿ ◠๑ )

  5. Hm, the ending was a bit abrupt, but this was a good read!! And omggg, can’t wait to read the extras! I love XYS so much!!

    Thanks for the chapter! 🙂

  6. I hope someone with a strong sense of the characters and storyline can write some above average fanfic and keep the story going… like not the fanfic that goes off into left field. Like really understands the characters… like go back 10 chapters and move forward from there. Is good for at least 100 chapters! What a waste. Hope the author is alright.

  7. Aaawwww I’m sure there are valid reasons for an abrupt end.. but nevertheless I’m happy they finally confessed to each other ❤️

Thank you so much for the chapter!!~ Thank you so much for the amazing story and translation~ 🙇🙇🙇🙇

  8. Okay… I guess…

I hope the author continue this novel when she gets better, ’cause it’s such a great story and I love BetaXAlpha pairings.

    I am kinda sad it’s over( ;∀;)

Thanks for your hard work, I loved this novel, hope to see you soon with the translation of the continuation ( ˘ ³˘)♥

  9. Poor author, hope they will heal well wew…Anw reading this novel was really enjoyable and to translator also thanks for everything ❤️

  10. The author did the main couple so dirty! Like there was almost no relationship, no friendship, nothing. Mostly misunderstandings, avoidances, silent treatments.

But at least they got half a chapter to confess and kinda kiss.

Thanks for all the hard work, Shuyu! <3

  11. The fuck? What the hell, author?! Are you serious?! (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

You made other couple had a perfect romance and you gave your protagonist and male lead a forced, without feelings, romance?! It’s so rushed that I think it’s better you keep them hanging!

    pant pant pant…

cough I’m sorry about my rampage. But, really, author? Are you okay? What happened to you, author, that you write this bad chapter and ending?

If something happen to you, author, then thank you for your effort to end this novel. I very much enjoy it. 😊

  12. It was a bit rushed and abrupt but im glad they confessed. Its a shame it the end when their relationship only just started..

I enjoyed it though. The pace was nice, easy going and humorous.

    Thanks for the story

    Off to the extras now

  13. Ugh so abrupt but the journey was worth it. Thank you for your hard work 😁

  14. The journey was good but the ending… is too abrupt. I can still read more 😭😭😭

Thank you so much for translating this wonderful novel 💛🧡❤

  15. I’m glad the author manged to offer an ending. At least we can imagine what happened after the confession and kiss but if there wouldn’t have been an ending at all… 😱 that would have been terrible!

Thank you for the hard work in translating this story!

  16. Another book where I prefer the secondary couple to the main CP 🤦🏾‍♀️ shame. I loved Derek’s personality (he actually had one) and I loved how he initiated the friendships with the Betas and eventually his relationship. He Xin is an adorable box of sunshine as well.

Ning An is also a great character. He didn’t make the typical choices, and instead pointed out Xu Yu’s illogical tendencies several times. It was great to see XY fumbling around though (that’s about all I enjoyed from him, unfortunately, le sigh).

  17. Realmente un final abrupto, ah

De alguna manera lo sentí más largo que en las novelas donde pasan años y como 100 o 200 capítulos en juntarse 😂

  18. Thank you for the translation. I hope the author is better now. If someone knows, update here. Her writing is so good. I enjoyed this story. Just wish for her to get better and flesh out the ending chapters more.

  19. Should’ve made derek and hexin the main couple instead of them. Made those side couple have sweet moments but gave the main cp a shitty misunderstandings and then end it. 3/10 totally waste my time reading this

  20. Awwwww… It’s too too abrupt! Otherwise the plot and storyline is really beautiful. Thank you for the translation! And thank you author for giving us readers to have such a beautiful story on omegaverse~ 💕

  21. Though I still wanna read more in Instructor Qin’s life too. He’s one of that interesting side character that actually caught my attention!
