    Even if I can’t stand QLL, to say that he robbed QLQ from all the resources and now he’s the bad guy in that aspect. He’s not but the people who did that to the babies.     • lol same about QLL, I may not like him, he’s too sensitive and overreacts, going too far in trying to protect/defend himself. I don’t feel like he’s stable enough to handle everything that’s happened, especially all the stuff beyond his control. That and his personality’s not very upright, he’s pretty underhanded.

      I feel like he’s being backed into a corner and nothing’s going to end well for him. I don’t like him or his behaviour but I also don’t feel like the author has justified themselves enough to suddenly pull him down like this. Like he hasn’t done enough bad stuff yet to deserve half of all the negative sh*t he’s having thrown at him. And I definitely don’t like the people saying he ‘stole’ QLQ life/resources, because that’s something well and truly beyond his control. I also don’t like their parents, like seriously.

    I’m actually sick tbh. Yes QLL is immature and insecure and a badminded hypocrite but to say he STOLE QLQ’s life?? As a BABY?!? You can’t even say his parents deliberately switched them to give him a better life (this better not be a flag), it was just staff negligence. Either way none of it would be his fault?? I don’t even blame him for trying to hold on to all he knows. Especially when his parents and grandpa immediately switched up on him. Like it’s one thing to say “we love you, and always will, but please understand that for the time being we’ll be giving more attention to this bereft child that we also need to get to know”; and something else to take his ROOM (TWICE in the case of grandpa Yan).

    (And on top of that the parents didn’t even give said attention to QLQ)

    His behaviour, especially with FHR, is extremely understandable. Worse with the way everyone calls them “real” and “fake” and considers him a thief. Everything that was previously his birthright is now just nostalgia and charity. He’s on thin ice right now. I can even understand hiding what he did to the painting, shitty as it was. One wrong step and it could all be over for him. All kinds of favouritism being shown and he has to take it with a smile lest he be called ungrateful and lose even more. But of course, he’ll be painted entirely as a villain that deserves every terrible thing that happens to him. Meanwhile the Qi/Yan family get a chance at redemption.

    The netizens are infuriating but the real life implications of the author’s writing is concerning.
