Your nonchalance of his existence is what made him like that! (or was I wrong? Either way, it really feels wrong to say that you wish the other is your real son. Why can’t you give them both the love of a parent? Just because he is not with you for the oast years and he turned out to be a disappointing rascal?)

6. Thanks for the chapter! So the mom can be all the expensive crap & pretty much anything her baby wants, but the biological kid, well, who cares about him.

   They keep blaming him for the gambling, but did they provide this child coming from the poorest countryside with some financial preparation, or on how the rich act & the pitfalls? Rich kids are schooled in “being rich” from birth, you can’t fake that education or attitude unless you’re super savy. Poor original soul must have been so lost & hurt seing the neglect of his new parents.

   Did you know that most big lottery winners end up bankrupt in a few years because they were never taught how to handle that astronomical (for them) sum of money? They fall for the scammers/money grubbing relatives or friends, &/or they buy the most foolish stuff because they don’t realize that their money is a drop in the ocean of richness, or even that the rich finance their big purchases. They get cheap loans from their buddy bankers using stable assets as collateral. From how I understand it, it’s usually some form of bond or something which can pay back the rates of the loan with the interest gained with the bond, so the main asset money isn’t used, so at the end, they get the bond thingy plus what they bought, thus becoming richer.

       Well, it is well known that rich people tend to loose empathy, especially for the ordinary people, because they live in a bubble. That’s why smart rich parents send their kids into the world to earn money & learn the value of life.

   • Well said…the thing they expect the original owner to behave as a perfect child is already too much, what more their negligence towards how a child who used to not have parents+ money all his life till 18 suddenly feel or behave when he got both.
