Translator's Note

Because his name is 郑飞虎 and 虎 means tiger, so they called him a paper tiger, the joke is that 纸飞虎 because… His name… Has the word tiger… Pun.

  1. Hahaha those two are really traumatized! Zheng Feihu is powerful to calm them down Just with his name. 🤣

    Meng Feng was really annoying this chapter. He doesn’t want to be with Liu Yan to ‘protect him’… Then he shouldn’t toss him to other man as if he was an object.

    Thanks for the chapter!

  2. Liu Yan, “You know about integrals? You really can’t judge a book by its cover.”

    i laughed out loud. nobody writes bickering couples like feitian. i can’t wait for them to stop being idiots and get back together but i also love this dynamic between them. ty so much for translating, this book is the highlight of my week ❤️

  3. Lol this chapter is hilarious. From Zheng Feihu to seafood to recipes ahhhh Liu Yan is awesome.

  4. Lmfao! (Wen Qiege, “No, it was pretty quiet before. Now that you’ve come, there’s something wrong with them.”)

    Liu Yan’s the whole freaking party lol

    Sigh, Meng Feng still has his issues to deal with. I mean, I don’t know the specifics, but Meng Feng did push Liu Yan away first. Then later, he acts affectionate again but didn’t get an affectionate response. What did he expect? The first break up wasn’t cleared up, nor was it made clear that they got together again. (And then when it was a ‘kinda got back together,’ Meng Feng throws out another ‘break up’ card!) It seems like the crux is Meng Feng wants to be with Liu Yan, but also doesn’t feel worthy of him. So he lets Liu Yan go, even though it pains him, and he expresses his pain by puffing up like a porcupine covered in spines. It’s nice that Liu Yan’s taking the initiative now vs. something of a passive acceptance in the past, even if he’s also acting like a porcupine too atm -v-;

  5. So now Liu Yan kinda had superpower? Sensitive hearing? Will this helped him with finding out more about zombies? I loved how this book developed more on zombie evolution. The question Liu Yan asked when he realised can now intelligent zombie be considered “alive” since it is afraid of “death” is very nicely done.
