“Who said I wanted casual?” Ren Yi quickly commented, throwing Song Mu for another loop.
His face turned red when it hit him that Ren Yi was asking him out in his own way. His hands started to sweat as his heart began to beat like crazy. “Should I take that as you asking me out?” Song Mu surprisingly asked with a hint of boldness.
“If you are willing.”
“I am willing.” Song Mu tried to calm down his excitement but slightly failed. At least, he still looked calm on the surface. Inside, he was jumping up and down, cheering like a madman.
The conversation cut short as the server came back with their food. Song Mu and Ren Yi started eating, engaging in other subjects as they ate.

He boldly grabbed Ren Yi’s hand, squeezing it, “I don’t want to leave, but I don’t want to rush anything at the same time.”
Ren Yi stepped closer, intertwining their fingers, “I don’t mind what you choose.”
Biting his lip, Song Mu thought for a second before doing something he always wanted to do. He leaned over, landing his lips on Ren Yi’s as he kissed him. Ren Yi instantly kissed back, moving his lips with Song Mu.
They softly kissed, not taking anything too far before separating. Song Mu rested his forehead on Ren Yi, breathing hard even though it was a simple kiss.
It was better than every dream he had about kissing Ren Yi. He wanted to capture the soft lips once more, but he knew if he did, he wouldn’t stop. And it seemed like Ren Yi had the same idea with how his eyes kept falling on Song Mu’s lips.
“I really like you.” Song Mu spoke, sounding like he was in high school all over again.
Ren Yi chuckled, “I like you too.”
Instead of giving in to what he wanted, Song Mu kissed Ren Yi’s cheek. “I will call you later.” He promised.
“I will be waiting.” Ren Yi responded.
They let each other go, slowly moving apart as they didn’t want to. Song Mu unlocked his car door, opening it as Ren Yi waved before walking away.
Song Mu and Ren Yi knew they had to be quick, fearing that if they weren’t, they would stick to each other and not let go this time.
