  7. So … even if this hair-brained scheme did work and they managed to steal the queen and wash their roots … how, exactly, did they plan to deal with the aftermath? Because I feel like stealing the beloved pet of the two most powerful people on the continent is probably going to end really poorly.

    • They figured that they could overpower them by using the insects etc. The plan thus time wasn’t all thst stupid imo. Take the queen, break the contract, breed for more insects to wash roots later n use the ones they’d taken to handle lmf n jx. The problem is that lmf came b4 they could take the queen. I personally think the plan is dumb bc the 3 insect grps with the fang n wang family could kill them before lmf even showed up. They might be lmfs beast per but also lisren to fangs n wangs prob under lmfs orders as they were with them for 2 yrs But the siblings didn’t want to kill their own cousins so didn’t order the insects to attack them.

  12. Tbh I’m really disappointed with the outcome of Liu Shen. Like everyone in this novel is only good if they are on the side of Mufeng if they don’t agree with him they automatically become the villains. LS could’ve become a neutral person instead of shifting his whole personality just to make him a villain. And more and more people are popping out of no where.

    • They dont have to be on his side or agree with him to be “good.” They can be regular ol ppl by not being on his side but not provoking. The thing is we only hear about ppl provoking him or one’s he befriends bc it’s a story. The uninvolved good bystanders dont get mentioned. In the case of liu shen, he got desperate to wash his roots after not getting a quota. Desperation can make even the smartest person do stupid things thus why he let himself be dragged along with the zhang family. Unlike Liu muyan or whatever his name is from lmfs family who is unaffected by family stupidity bc he was raised in the sect, Liu shen is still kinda entitled like his mom.
