Jiang Xu is a character that could equally be a hero or a villain in this type of story… not is he something of a muscle brain, but everything is black and white to him, and he responds in the most direct (and usually violent) way possible, without second thoughts. Marriage to Mufeng has been good for him because not only has Mufeng given him the emotional security and support he lacked, but also also provided a check to Jiang Xu’s more violent responses when they aren’t the best response… I love the fact Jiang Xu is taking this opportunity to clean up the Liu family. I hope this actually lets Grandpa Wang and Mufeng have a better relationship— possibly because Grandpa and Jiang Xu bond over punishing the Liu family!
