After Crossing Through Ten Worlds, I Failed To Run AwayCh105 - We can be together until we grow old

After leaving the hospital, Ji Ning was pulled into a taxi by Huo Wuling. Huo Wuling told the driver the name of the restaurant and they were driven to the designated place. However, when they got off the taxi, they couldn’t see the restaurant.

“What’s going on?” Ji Ning looked around, “Did the driver take us to the wrong place?” 9kHbjN

“Maybe he just stopped near the restaurant.” Huo Wuling suggested, “Let’s see if it’s nearby.”

But even though they walked up and down the street, they couldn’t see the restaurant. Ji Ning took out his phone and tried to compare their location with where the restaurant was, but somehow none of the buildings on the map matched up with the ones around them.

Huo Wuling laughed, “We seem to be lost.”

Were they lost? Was it really this easy to get lost? Pf2YBj

Ji Ning looked at the surrounding environment with mistrust.

He’d felt that this place was strange since they’d got here. The buildings didn’t match each other. They looked like they’d been jumbled together from various different places and times. On the left side of the road was a modern office block, but next to it was an old fashioned shop with a narrow alley, and at the end of the alley was a large lake.

“Let’s ask someone…”

He said uncertainly. He walked towards a passer by, but when the man saw him approaching, he waved his hand and strode away from Ji Ning. It wasn’t just him, every pedestrian Ji Ning tried to approach reacted the same way.

“This place is really weird.” Ji Ning looked at Huo Wuling, a little unnerved, “What should we do?”

Their navigation wasn’t working and the passersby ignored him. His only option was to go into a shop and ask. If that didn’t work, he’d have to call the police, but two grown men calling the police for help just because they’d got lost was too embarrassing. If possible, Ji Ning only wanted to do that as a last resort.

Compared with Ji Ning’s uneasiness, Huo Wuling still looked calm, as if he hadn’t noticed anything unusual around him. He said, “If we keep walking, we’ll eventually find our way out.”

“Why are you so calm…” Ji Ning whispered. Qv3y1B

“Because it doesn’t matter what happens.” Huo Wuling smiled, “It’s just nice to be with you.”

Huo Wuling had always been good with words, and Ji Ning felt comforted by his reassurance, the worry in his heart disappearing. The two of them walked down the street, but found that the shops were either closed or empty. In some restaurants, the tables were filled with steaming food, but there was no one inside, not even an employee.

This unnatural scene made Ji Ning think of various horror stories and he couldn’t stop his fear from rising again. Even though he was hungry from skipping lunch, he didn’t dare to touch the food, and insisted on dragging Huo Wuling over to the other side of the road.

It was still early afternoon, but the sky was overcast as if it was about to rain and it was already dark enough that the street lamps turned on one by one. 1zd4fb

Ji Ning felt a shiver run through his body and he no longer cared about his face. He said to Huo Wuling, “I think we need to call the police, otherwise I’m worried we’ll never get out of here.”

“Is that necessary?” Huo Wuling said lightly, “Are you still afraid even if I’m next to you?”

“I’m afraid.” Ji Ning said decisively.

“Don’t be afraid.” Huo Wuling smiled again. He reached out and ruffled Ji Ning’s hair. “This isn’t a supernatural phenomenon. It’s only because you’re about to wake up that things are getting more and more abnormal.” MhGAQi

“What?” Ji Ning didn’t understand the second half of Huo Wuling’s words.

“It doesn’t matter.” Huo Wuling said, “But if you really want to leave, then—” He stopped speaking suddenly, his eyes locked on something behind Ji Ning.

Ji Ning nervously turned around, following Huo Wuling’s line of sight, then breathed a sigh of relief.

He’d thought Huo Wuling had seen something terrible, but in fact he was just looking at a grocery store. Did he need to put on such a fearful expression? 7YNa6s

As far as Ji Ning could see, there was nothing weird about the grocery store. On the contrary, it was beautifully decorated, with a bright sign and wind chimes hanging over the open door. He could even vaguely hear a soothing singer’s voice through one of the open windows.

Huo Wuling stared at the grocery shop for a while, before abruptly walking inside.

Ji Ning followed behind him into the shop. Although there were a lot of things inside, it didn’t look cluttered. The weather outside was getting worse, making him grateful for the muted lights of the shop. He noticed a record player in the shop’s corner which must have been the source of the singing.

…it seemed a little familiar? E3mL0P

Ji Ning felt a sudden sense of deja vu.

Just like the other shops, there was no one here. Ji Ning didn’t understand why Huo Wuling had walked in here. To his surprise, Huo Wuling went straight through a door behind the counter into the back of the shop and opened a fridge, rummaging through its contents.

“Why are you touching someone else’s things?”

Startled, Ji Ning immediately went to stop Huo Wuling, worried they would be treated as thieves. hB7OgS

“It’s fine, this is my house.”

Huo Wuling finally found some vegetables and a few eggs. He smiled at Ji Ning, “Are you hungry? I’ll cook for you.”

“This is your house?” Ji Ning was astonished. His first thought was that this must be where Huo Wuling intended to take him from the start and that he’d just tricked him into thinking they were lost.

But that didn’t explain why the people around them were acting so weird. He didn’t think Huo Wuling would go so far as to ask strangers to play along with him, and if he wanted Ji Ning to come over why wouldn’t he just ask him? G2UJVL

However, he was still relieved. Since this was Huo Wuling’s house, there weren’t any problems anymore. If they ended up finishing late, they could just stay here for the night since neither one of them had class the next morning.

“Yes, I live here.”

Huo Wuling confirmed. Without saying anything else, he took out an apron from a cabinet and put it on. Ji Ning enjoyed this rare domestic appearance and, putting his doubts behind him, teased, “Can you really cook?”

“I live by myself, of course I know how to cook.” Huo Wuling said, breaking the eggs into a bowl. 5q1Vuy

“By yourself?” Ji Ning asked, surprised, “Are you saying you live here alone? What about your family?”

“My parents died soon after I was born. My adoptive father took me in, but he also died, so I’ve here alone since then.”

“I’m sorry…” Ji Ning felt both distressed and guilty hearing Huo Wuling’s words. He felt like he’d asked about something he shouldn’t have. This must be the pain in Huo Wuling’s heart that Jiang Che was for him.

“It doesn’t matter. It’s been many years so I don’t mind anymore.” Huo Wuling laughed, “I’ll cook egg noodles for you, I remember you liked them a lot.” emSIK9

While Huo Wuling was cooking, the gloomy sky finally began to rain.

As Ji Ning helped Huo Wuling with the noodles, he thought that it was fortunate they had gone to Huo Wuling’s house, otherwise they would have been drenched by the rain. He would have rather been stuck in the rain then enter one of those creepy shops.

“It’s raining again.”

Huo Wuling said casually, glancing out the window. He took the boiled egg noodles and stir fried vegetables out of the kitchen, and placed them on a table in the shop, next to an old sofa. MxNeR

Ji Ning closed the open door behind them and sat with Huo Wuling to eat the noodles. When they’d nearly finished, Huo Wuling put down his chopsticks and smirked, pointing at several dark stains on the sofa, “Do you know what those stains are?”

“I don’t know…” Ji Ning said, continuing to eat his noodles. Huo Wuling’s cooking was really good, he’d already eaten two bowls.

“It’s my adoptive father’s blood.” Huo Wuling said, “Our store was robbed and he was killed by the thief on this sofa.”

Ji Ning wiped his mouth and sat back down, his eyes fixed on Huo Wuling’s calm expression. His emotions were very complicated but he felt extremely distressed for Huo Wuling. He had never mentioned his life experiences before, and Ji Ning would never have guessed he lived so miserably. He had no idea how many years Huo Wuling spent alone in this shop.

“I’ve told you before, but you definitely wouldn’t remember.” DoaAFh

Huo Wuling smiled, as if he was talking to himself. Ji Ning wanted to refute, he wouldn’t have forgotten this if Huo Wuling had mentioned it before, but the boy had already continued speaking.

“Since my childhood, everyone close to me has died.”

“I can’t see them grow old, and I won’t see myself grow old.”

“Just like how you won’t see Jiang Che decades from now, because he’s already dead.” vJrgus

“It’s the same for me, Ningning. It’s a shame I won’t be able to watch you grow old.”

In an instant, Ji Ning’s heart felt like it had been gripped by an invisible hand. He knew Huo Wuling wasn’t cursing him because Huo Wuling had already said at the hospital to treat him like he was a dying man.

What was wrong with Huo Wuling…

“Why,” He ignored the overwhelming panic in his heart and forced himself to make a joke, testing Huo Wuling, “Are you trying to break up with me?” vHCN82

“How could that be? I like you the most, I only like you.” Huo Wuling smiled, “But I really can’t help it.”

Whoosh…

Huo Wuling lowered his head. The sound of the rain outside continued. Ji Ning rushed over in a panic and grabbed Huo Wuling’s hand, only to find that his skin was very cold.

“Don’t talk nonsense. You want to see me grow old, I can show you right now.” B38TW

Ji Ning was so flustered he downloaded a beauty app that the girls in his class used to use that had a variety of filters.

He opened the app and found a filter called ‘Seventy Years Old’. He pointed the camera towards the two of them so the filter picked up both of their faces.

Two old faces appeared on the screen, their faces wrinkled and their hair grey.

“This is how we grow old.” kA s86

Ji Ning looked at Huo Wuling seriously.

“You’ll be fine and I’ll be fine too. We’ll both live to seventy years old and older. Even ninety years old isn’t a problem.”

“We can see each other every day. If you can’t walk anymore, I’ll come to you, and if I can’t walk, you have to come to me.”

“If we both can’t walk anymore, then someone can push our wheelchairs so we still meet.” 1eVjg2

“…”

Huo Wuling didn’t speak. His eyes slowly turned red.

He stared at the old faces of himself and Ji Ning in the camera for a long time until his shoulders began to tremble. He raised a hand to cover his eyes, tears slowly dripping down his face.

The sound of the rain outside the window faded as the weather cleared up and the dark clouds dissipated. fypdDG

The afterglow of the setting sun shone through the window, filling the room with a gentle glow.

Clink…clink…

The door opened abruptly, making the hanging wind chimes jingle.

At the same moment, images appeared in Ji Ning’s head. 9WLnAq

It was another night. A cold, rainy night. The two of them had stayed here and Huo Wuling closed the door because he’d felt cold. He’d asked Huo Wuling why the door was always kept open. Huo Wuling had looked at the dark street and answered in a quiet voice-

“Because I’m waiting for other guests.”

“There’s something I wish to see, but…I might be waiting forever.”

Clink…clink… LesG j

The wind chimes kept ringing. Ji Ning turned and saw that the shop’s door had been pushed open. Under the warm orange light of the sunset, two old men walked in, holding their arms around each other.

Their expressions were peaceful as they smiled slightly. Their faces looked exactly like Huo Wuling and Ji Ning did when they used the ‘Seventy Years Old’ filter.

This should have scared him, but Ji Ning didn’t have the slightest fear in his heart, instead he felt inexplicably sad. Glancing at Huo Wuling, he blurted out.

“Those are the guests you were waiting for?” WRab4k

“Yes…”

Huo Wuling watched the two figures. Tears were still falling down his face but the corners of his lips were slightly raised.

“They are my fantasies.”

“That even when we are old, we will still rely on each other to go where we want to go and do what we want to do.” mfEPwg

“That we’d grow old together in the same home, never apart, never alone.”

“That is my wish, and it is also ‘his’ wish…”

“I want to stay with you until we’re old Ningning, but it’s impossible. It will never happen.”

He closed his eyes. At the same time, the two old figures vanished and the world outside the window started to collapse. The colours of the streets outside faded, shattering into darkness. acTjBs

A sudden wave of images flooded Ji Ning’s head. In a moment, he remembered everything that had happened and the time he’d spent with each of the protagonists. He realised he’d been trapped in an illusion, but this time it was only Huo Wuling and the others who’d known the truth.

“What’s going on? Why is the world collapsing? What will happen to us?”

Story translated by Chrysanthemum Garden.

Ji Ning grabbed Huo Wuling’s arm and asked anxiously. Huo Wuling laughed and said.

“You’re about to wake up. This false world is collapsing with you.” M9Zn5B

“When you wake up, you’ll return to your original world. Aren’t you happy?”

“It’s time to say goodbye Ningning.”

Ji Ning felt a vague dread fill his chest. “If this world collapses, where will you go?”

He could hear the resoluteness in Huo Wuling’s words, it really sounded like he was about to die. OtY57D

And what about the others? Where were they? Were all of them just going to disappear?

The whole world was shaking. Items from the grocery store fell from the display racks and shattered against the floor. However, in the midst of the destruction caused by the end of the world, Huo Wuling didn’t stop smiling as he stroked Ji Ning’s face.

“Goodbye Ningning.”

The false sky split into shards, revealing the empty darkness behind it. Ji Ning shook his head desperately. No…no, no, no, how could it end like this? rYyXUF

Future…Future! Where was he?!

He called out in his heart to the system that belonged to him: What happened to this world? How can I stop its destruction?

【The destruction of this world cannot be stopped, but you can still save him teacher.】

A voice spoke in Ji Ning’s head, but it wasn’t Future. It was Lai. HRbyzO

【If you want to save him, you have to kiss him. Quickly.】

After saying this, he didn’t speak again. Ji Ning didn’t have time to care why Lai was speaking to him or whether his words were true. He desperately threw himself into Huo Wuling’s arms, moving to kiss him.

“You can’t, Ningning.”

Huo Wuling could see what Ji Ning wanted to do and held him by the shoulders, not letting him get any closer, “You can’t kiss me…Ningning?” nCum48

His face froze at the sight of the tears streaming from Ji Ning’s eyes.

“Don’t die…” Ji Ning sobbed, his voice cracking, “I don’t want you to die…”

Chrysanthemum Garden.

“Ningning…”

Huo Wuling sighed softly. He held him tightly in his arms and stroked his hair, “I don’t want to be Jiang Che, I am my own person. Not to mention, it would be useless to become him, he’s already dead. He can’t stay with you until you’re old, so why should I-” svYKzM

The next moment, his eyes widened in shock as he was shoved from behind. In his momentary confusion, Ji Ning took the opportunity to raise his head and capture Huo Wuling in a kiss.

“I finally caught up.”

Lai stood behind Huo Wuling, his hand outstretched.

Huo Wuling separated from Ji Ning and brushed his fingers against his tingling lips. He looked back at Lai, “Even if you do this, I won’t merge with you. I’d rather destroy myself.” 32oaJ9

“So you want to give up?” Lai half smiled, “How do you know that Jiang Che can’t be resurrected? That he can’t accompany teacher until he’s old?”

“Just try it. If it doesn’t work then you’ll still die anyway.”

He showed a strange smile, watching Huo Wuling’s figure fade away. Once Huo Wuling disappeared, he turned his gaze to Ji Ning. He gently picked up Ji Ning’s hand and pressed a tender kiss to the back of it.

“Teacher, this is the last kiss I’ll give you.” zsVPU

Crack.

The world completely shattered and the terminal Lai had used crumbled into dust, making it impossible to simulate a new virtual world.

Ji Ning opened his eyes to the empty space of consciousness and slowly sat up. He was surrounded by figures, all of them the ‘novel protagonists’, including Huo Wuling and Lai, but the person standing in the middle was—

“…Jiang Che?” GsMF3v

He called out the name that had accompanied him for so many years, his eyes wide with disbelief.

Sure enough, he hadn’t been mistaken in the virtual world, he really had seen Jiang Che. It was really him!

Future walked up to him and half-kneeled. Before, his handsome face was expressionless and had a slightly inhuman aura, but for the first time, there was a faint smile on his lips as he held out his hand and said.

“Perhaps. You can also call me Future.” XYdviz

“Congratulations Ji Ning, your surgery is finished and your mission is complete. You are about to return to the real world.”

Wait, he was Future? The system, Future? But how could he have the same face as Jiang Che? And what did he mean by surgery?

Read more BL at chrysanthemumgarden (dot) com

There were still too many questions in Ji Ning’s heart. He hadn’t even decided what to ask first when, before he could open his mouth, Future disappeared, turning into a spot of light.

Ji Ning stretched out his hand to catch him, but the next second the others also vanished into light, illuminating the darkness around him. ytdOcm

Countless lights surrounded Ji Ning and flowed into his body, allowing him to see many memories which didn’t belong to him.

He saw Future’s memories. He was the medical system created using Jiang Che’s consciousness after he died. During the treatment for Ji Ning’s surgery, Future’s consciousness had split, becoming the protagonists he had met.

Future had the same appearance as Jiang Che because he represented the core identity of ‘Jiang Che’.

Gu Chen was Jiang Che’s soul. Amongst each of the shards of consciousness, his personality was the most similar to Jiang Che’s. aSi1dQ

Ark was the first moment Jiang Che’s feelings for Ji Ning began. His love for Ji Ning started at a very young age, without him even noticing it.

Herinos was the point when Jiang Che realised he liked Ji Ning romantically. He was Jiang Che’s inner conflict and struggle, but also the part of him that hoped Ji Ning would someday love him back.

Ying Qianqiu was the time of youth when Ji Ning and Jiang Che grew up together. He was the manifestation of Jiang Che’s most passionate love for Ji Ning.

Ozer was the taboo. As Jiang Che got older, although his love for Ji Ning never changed, he was scared by what the consequences might be for his feelings. OzTKl0

Zhou Rin was the conflict Jiang Che felt between the love he felt and the restraints he placed on himself and his emotions.

Yun Yuan was Jiang Che’s unwillingness and obsession.

Lai was Jiang Che’s desire.

Qin Ruwang symbolised the relationship Jiang Che and Ji Ning had for more than ten years. 8GXqlc

While Huo Wuling was the infinite regret Jiang Che felt after the car accident, and Jiang Che’s desire to live with Ji Ning until they were old.

And from beginning to end, Jiang Che hoped that Ji Ning could live well and happily, which was the part of him that Fu Qinghan represented.

When they gathered together, they were Jiang Che, the complete Jiang Che, and all of Jiang Che’s love for Ji Ning.

Boundless emotions surged like a turbulent raging ocean, but in the end they became the softest spring water, gently soaking Ji Ning. nawRL7

‘They’ loved him.

He loved him.

Chrysanthemum Garden.

Jiang Che loved Ji Ning.

Ji Ning opened his eyes. JqcLTB

The operation was successful.

As he recovered in the hospital, Ji Ning repeatedly sent requests to the control centre of the ‘Future’ system asking to speak with Jiang Che, the consciousness of the ‘Future’ system. He was declined every time. According to regulations, patients couldn’t have private contact with the system to avoid causing damage to its operation.

Ji Ning was devastated. Every day his emotions swung between euphoria and misery. He was elated that Jiang Che hadn’t completely died, but tormented with the knowledge that even if he hadn’t, he couldn’t even have a conversation with him.

In the past twenty years, he’d never known that Jiang Che had such deep feelings for him. MLdvHx

And then…

He lost him…

The day he was discharged from the hospital, both Ji Ning and Jiang Che’s families were there to pick him up. Jiang Che’s family were just as relieved that Ji Ning had recovered from his accident. They had regarded Ji Ning as their own child for many years now.

Ji Ning should have been happy that he’d had a full recovery and could leave the hospital, but when he thought that Jiang Che would still be there, he didn’t want to leave. He had started to think of ways to cause another accident that would damage his brain, so he might be able to see Jiang Che again. rW1qQU

But Ji Ning knew these ideas were dangerous. He shouldn’t bet with his own life.

Back when he still thought he was completing missions, his greatest obsession was to go back to his family because he knew how heart wrenching it was to lose a loved one. He didn’t want to let his family suffer the same way.

“We received a ‘surprise gift’, celebrating your recovery and discharge from the hospital. We’ve put the ‘gift’ in your room.”

Ji Ning’s parents told him happily as they travelled home. Ji Ning’s sister, brother-in-law, and Jiang Che’s parents were also smiling. They all seemed very happy, as if they were looking forward to Ji Ning’s reaction when he saw the gift. axf74K

Ji Ning’s little niece couldn’t help but say, “Uncle, let me tell you. The gift is Ji—”

“Shh, don’t spoil it. Didn’t you promise mom we’d let uncle ‘open the gift’ in person.”

His elder sister quickly covered her daughter’s mouth. The little girl blinked, then nodded obediently, raising her hand to cover her own mouth.

The group returned to Ji Ning’s villa. As soon as they entered the living room, everyone urged Ji Ning to hurry to his room to see what surprise was waiting for him. 3easEW

Being coaxed like this by two families, Ji Ning decided to tease them instead. First, he drank a glass of water, before slowly washing an apple. He nibbled on the apple as he walked around the kitchen. If his sister hadn’t glared at him, he would have spent even longer wasting time.

“Don’t deliberately leave us waiting.” His elder sister smiled and tapped his forehead, “Otherwise you’ll be the one regretting it.”

Please visit chrysanthemumgarden (dot) com

“Really?” Ji Ning walked upstairs with the apple, pretending not to care much, “Then I’ll go and take a look. What if I’m not happy with the gift?”

“You won’t be unhappy.” UhAPdg

Everyone sounded extremely certain about this. While Ji Ning was puzzled, he couldn’t help having very high expectations as he was very curious about what they’d prepared for him.

However, he didn’t want to act too excited. Knowing what his family were like, they might have installed a hidden camera in his bedroom just to embarrass him later with his reaction…

Ji Ning bit into the apple and opened his door with a pretence of indifference. But, when he saw his ‘gift’ in his bedroom, the figure sitting quietly on his bed, he lost all of his composure. The apple dropped out of his hand and rolled across the floor.

“Jiang…” iWInDS

For several seconds, Ji Ning couldn’t even speak. His brain felt dizzy and his eyes itched as tears blurred his vision.

Was this real?

Was this really not his hallucination?

The person in front of him was really…Jiang Che… 3gzolF

“Do you like your surprise?”

The young man stood up slowly with a smile in his eyes. He took long steps forward, standing in front of Ji Ning.

Because of his excitement and unbelievable ecstasy, Ji Ning’s face flushed, his whole body shaking. The handsome man smiled and stroked his heated face, gently wiping away the tears that overflowed from his eyes. Suddenly he hugged Ji Ning tight in his arms, so close it seemed like he wanted to fuse him into his own flesh and blood.

“I’m finally with you again Ji Ning.” chgN2V

“This time, I won’t leave you.”

“We can be together until we grow old.”

The author has something to say: The story ends here…! I know there are still a lot of things that haven’t been fully explained, so I’ll see you all again! I will leave it to the extras to talk about it =v=

Thank you for your support darlings, mad kisses, I love you! =3= kdv4N7

*distressed sobbing*

I don’t even care how it happened, I’m just so happy they’re back together!! I really loved this chapter – Ji Ning shows most of his emotions through his actions rather than his words, and his desperation at wanting to suffer another brain injury just for a chance to see Jiang Che again made me want to sob. This couple deserves each other (and their happy ending) so much!!

Chrysanthemum Garden.

There are four extras, so please stay to enjoy them, they are very sweet and sticky <3

  1. AAAAGAGGHHHHHHHH

God I wish I could put an image here just to show you how I feel! 😭 That last line sounded like Huo Wuling, hopefully he’s the ‘main personality.” This novel was so enjoyable with excellent arcs and UGH I’m writhing and sobbing!!! Thank you so much for translating this novel and I hope to enjoy the extras!! 💖💖💖

    • Thank you so much for following this novel for so long – your comments bring me so much happiness!! Huo Wuling does have a habit of popping up unexpectedly…

Hopefully the extras will be satisfying~

  2. WAWWW that hurt me so muchhh It was sooo sadd I cried brooo! Idk how it happened I am just so happy but SO FREAKIN sad that this ended! WHY DID IT END! WHY ISN’T IT LONGER!? Idk I am not satisfied with just 4!? extras I WANT 4000!! Also I hate you translator(not really) for not giving us a tissue warning! If I knew this was the end I would have brought the tissues beforehand😭…I still can’t except this, why did it end!!!

YOU GUYS RECOMMEND ME MORE LIKE THIS IDK BRO😭😭😭

  3. Hello I made an account just to comment on this story because I really love it 🙂

This is the first BL novel I ever started and I’m really glad it’s the first but because it is that makes it all the more emotional to see it end. Because it was the first I wasn’t familiar with the trope of all the love interests being the same character and I got a bit too attached to them all. To the point I can’t even decide on a favorite or hate any of them although I really thought I’d hate Ozer until the end of the novel. I’m really sad to see it go. But I want to thank you for translating this amazing novel and letting us read it. It would’ve been much easier for you to just read it and well, not translate it. But thank you so much for all of your hard work and taking us on this journey. Now I’m going to go cry. Thank you again!

    • Thank you for taking the time to make an account, I am very touched!

I will take responsibility for your first time and continue translating the extras – don’t go yet, there is lots of sweetness left!

I have read so many multiple ml stories (shame on me), but this one felt so carefully written that I wanted to do it justice and let more people enjoy it so I’m really happy to know that it was worth doing~

I honestly thought I was going to hate Ozer all the way through, but the stubborn bastard grew on me and I ended up cheering for him in the end – my foolish soft heart!

There are a lot of fun bl stories to read, and I hope you find a lot of new ones to enjoy!!

  4. This was such an enjoyable read!! Thank you so much for translating such an amazing novel. I’m sad to part with this novel, but I’m glad Ji Ning and Jiang Che obtained their happy ending. The last line reminded me a lot of Huo Wuling, so I hope that he’s the “main personality” as he was my personal favorite among the different fragments.

Thank you again for translating this amazing novel, and this is the end, what an amazing journey!

  5. IM SOBBING OHMYGOD 😭😭😭😭 I’m so happy they all can be together now… thank you for blessing my eyes with this masterpiece 💜💜💜💜

  6. Ya know… Since he signed up to help with that project, I was wondering if his car accident wasn’t planned by the people in charge of the program 😕 Also I wonder why he signed up for it in the first place 🤔 seems a bit weird. Maybe the ai was supposed to be implanted inside him though.

  7. AAAAAAA Thank you so much!! It was a very fun read!! I cried so much and have an unhealthy attachment to Huo Wuling (TT) I have so many questions about the ending,.., how is he alive??? But more importantly, I’m so happy for the both of them 🥺🥺🥺
