A week had passed since that awkward encounter between me and Alex. And ever since then, we rarely see each other anymore, I even feel like Alex is avoiding me, I just can’t think of any reason why.
Whenever we see each other, he would purposely get away from me or he leaves almost instantly. Which really sucks because I though that we were friends.
I still had a funny feeling whenever I recalled that moment though, but I just shrugged it off, thinking that I was just too delusional.

“For the last time, I’m not going there!” Sandra who was beside me, snarked at our friends.

“Ok fine, but promise me all of you that you won’t do anything reckless. And Henry, you stick with me, I don’t trust you with these idiots.” I nodded at her while the guys we’re too happy to mind what she said about them.
The only problem I have now is that…how am I gonna tell this to my parents without getting scolded?

“Mom, I’m going out! I’ll be back before one.” Grey yelled outside, I then heard the clicking of the door and knew mom must have locked the door already.
The guys prepared an escape plan for me ahead of time. Since my brother was also going to the party, the only person I have to take care of was my mother.
And she has a routine, after she checks on us she then goes to bed to sleep. So there will be no problem I just have to wait for her to go to bed, and then make sure that I get back home later before my brother does.
Henry: Guys, my brother’s out. I think mom is going to sleep now. Are you all outside?
Drake & Kara: Yep! Were here.
Sandra: You morons are really brainwashing Henry, just last week he was scared of doing this kind of stuff. Look how fast he turned from an angel to a daredevil! You’re all bad influence! Even to me!

“Henry, dear, I’ll go to bed early. Don’t sleep late honey.” Mom slightly opened the door and bid me goodnight.
When I heard her room door close. I swiftly locked my room and climbed out of the back window. They prepared a ladder for me, so everything went smoothly as planned.
Now I’ll just go to the party, try to enjoy, and sneak back inside. There’s no problem here! The fact that I never did this is not something to worry over at all. I’ll be fine! I’ll be fine.’
‘Oh why bother lying. Just who am I kidding?! This is the most dangerous and reckless thing I have ever done!’ [Sigh]
They said that there will be a lot of people there, so as long as we avoid my brother and his friends then I’m good.
“Eyyy there he is! You excited? I assure you it’ll be the best time of your life.” The guys approached me when they saw me already down, and we walked together to where Kara’s car was parked.
She used her brand-new SUV so that her cousin Blaze won’t notice us. Pretty awesome of her to be honest
“Hold on a minute, we agreed that he’s sticking with me? So back off sinner!” Sandra barked at Drake and, and it immediately ticked a bomb, cause here ladies and gentlemen, they are now arguing.
Casper on the other hand side stepped to my side and whispered in my ears, “You should go with Kara, Drake goes all crazy when he drinks. You’ll be safer with her.”
I looked at him and gave him a thumbs up sign, and I saw Kara waving her arms at us inside her car hysterically, “Let’s go! Why are you all walking so slow? Hurry up people!” She screamed.
We all got inside and she started the car right away.
It took us half an hour to reach the location, and boy was it so loud in here. I understand now why they were so sure that I won’t see my brother here. The place was typically swimming with people.
The mansion was so huge with a wide backyard and a large pool. There we’re slides, a bar, and there we’re all kinds of activities like drinking games, couples making out, and even three people making out!!! It was super chaotic!
“You still sure you want this experience Henry?” Sandra asked me, but I was still stunned by the sight to answer her.
“No backsies, let’s gooo!” Drake dragged Carter while Kara just walked away to god knows where.
“Dimwits!” Sandra yelled at the two. “Let’s go Henry.” She then ushered me as we finally entered the wasted peoples’ domain.
