As Prince Cyn closed the door while unbuttoning his shirt, he glanced towards 49. “You’ve been quiet.”
“I am always quiet.” 49 quickly answered, stripping himself of his clothes until he stood in his nude—being a slave for so long, one does not care if he is clothed or not.
Prince Cyn’s eyes took in 49’s body a second longer before answering, “That is not what I mean, and you know it; you know me so well, beautiful.”
49 glared with a sneer, “You stink.”
Chuckling, Prince Cyn walked over, letting his shirt fall off him before reaching over and sliding his hand down 49’s chest. “So, it is about me visiting the omega before I left?”

When they returned to Eswein, it was almost the middle of the night. “You will start in one week, so enjoy your free time.” Prince Cyn told Ghost and Nabu before they disappeared. And as for 49, he told him the way to sneak into his room.
He entered his home, silently walking towards his room as the maids and butlers greeted him. His family did not care he was back, barely showing their presence, and Prince Cyn felt the same way.
As he got close to his room, his father’s personal guard stopped him by his door. “The king wants a report of your trip.”
Prince Cyn put on his brightest, fakest smile, “Well, I should get started on it because I cannot keep father waiting.” Then, Prince Cyn opened his door, slamming it closed.
I am not doing a stupid report. If my father wants to know what happened, he can talk to me. Prince Cyn thought. And I cannot wait until he finds out that I told King Galot we are no longer trading with him.
When he looked up, 49 was already sitting on the bed. “After four months, I will show you something beautiful.” Prince Cyn started.
“I want my uncle to stay alive; I want to take his life myself.”
“Whatever you want, beautiful.”
Taking off his mask, River entered his home with Nabu. Once the door opened, they could hear the sound of little feet running towards them. A force almost knocked River back as he held his son. Nabu kept him from falling down with a hand holding his back.
“Papa!” Kiyt excitedly yelled.
River chuckled, picking up his son as he left many kisses on his face. “How is my beautiful boy?”
“Good, now you are home,” Kiyt responded before glancing over and seeing his dad. His smile grew wider while he cheerfully yelled, “Daddy, you’re back!”
Nabu smiled back, running his hand through Kiyt’s hair, “Yes, buddy, and I am staying too. I am no longer leaving.”
“Really?” Kiyt’s eyes started to water as disbelief entered his tone.
“Yes, I am. I am not going anywhere.”
Kiyt started crying at those words, his tears filled with joy. Nabu kissed the top of his head, rubbing his back to calm him down. River rubbed Kiyt’s head, tenderly smiling as he took in his son’s scent. He missed it.
Mrs. Adair finally walked over—she wanted to give them some time together before making her presence known.
“Welcome home.” She greeted them.
“Thank you.” River responded, happy to be back home with his son and Nabu.
This was supposed to be long, but my brain doesn’t want to come up with words sadly. Two extras are coming up before the second part of the story starts.
