Xia Wan unbuckled his seat belt as the car halted near the school gate. The rustling sound of the potato chip package echoed in his palm as he shifted.
After receiving Su Tang’s voice message, he didn’t dare to eat potato chips.
“I’m getting out of the car,” Xia Wan politely said goodbye, “Thank you for seeing me off.”
Huo Yu nodded, “Once the agreement is drafted, I’ll arrange for someone to deliver it to you for review.”
“What agreement?” Xia Wan was stunned. But the next second he soon realized that Huo Yu was talking about a cooperation agreement between the two of them.
“I’ll ask someone to make two sets, one to get the certificate and the other to fall in love.” Huo Yu tilted his head casually, “You choose.”
“The service is genuinely considerate,” Xia Wan murmured. Noticing Huo Yu’s lack of anger, he paused and clarified, “It wasn’t me; my roommate made that comment.”
“Oh.” Huo Yu said, his voice a little drawn out, Xia Wan didn’t know whether Huo Yu believed him or not.
Just when the signal light turned green, Xia Wan quickly got out of the car, waved with his hands and started walking.
The person walked away happily, showing a carefree and excited vibe, fading into the distance with a youthful spirit.
Huo Yu gazed at the figure briefly, then absentmindedly tapped his fingers on the steering wheel. Surprisingly, he not only wasn’t upset by Su Tang’s words but rather, he quite liked them.
He hoped Xia Wan would distance himself from Huo Lin soon, decreasing the chance of him getting together with Huo Lin.This would gradually but swiftly lead to their separation, making them incompatible.
Huo Yu maintained a serious expression because he found Xia Wan’s nervous demeanor amusing.
Unintentionally, a smile crossed Huo Yu’s face as he restarted the car.
The school’s front road was spacious. When Xia Wan looked back, Huo Yu’s car had already vanished, leaving only the early spring sunlight casting a golden glow through the branches.
“Master Xia.” Someone trotted over, “You are back, I have been waiting for a long time.”
Xia Wan turned and spotted Huo Lin’s driver, Zhou Shui, hurrying with a food box in hand. As he ran, he briefly glanced at the place where Huo Yu had parked his car, appearing focused on multiple things.
“Young Master Huo Shao knew you liked this food, so he sent me to queue up for you early in the morning. If you hadn’t arrived in time, it would have gone cold,” Zhou Shui explained politely.
“Which Young Master Huo are you talking about?” Xia Wan asked.
“Haha,” Zhou Shui chuckled awkwardly, “Who else could it be except Young Master Lin?”
There was a fresh fragrance coming out of the box, it smelled really good, and it must be delicious. Xia Wan lowered his eyes and saw the words on the package: Ponzi Crab Roe Bun.
“You saw it too, Huo Yu sent me here just now,” Xia Wan struggled to look away from the box, and said in a cold voice, “I don’t want Huo Lin’s things, you can take them back.”
As soon as he said it, He turned to the left, but Zhou Shui soon followed him closely: “If you don’t accept this, Young Master Huo will punish me.”
Huo Lin would have been here by now if Mr. Huo hadn’t detained him. However, just because he didn’t come doesn’t mean he would send Zhou Shui to persuade Xia Wan.
Before 5am, Zhou Shui went to Pon’s to wait in line and managed to purchase the crab roe bun Xia Wan adored. He believed that with a sufficiently humble attitude, the other party wouldn’t be too difficult to deal with.
But who knew…

“Then face the consequences,” Xia Wan suddenly halted.

This motivated Zhou Shui further. Although he used to address the previous owner as “Xiao,” soon he would add “Xia” to it. He observed Huo Lin’s attitude towards the original owner and noted that Huo Lin didn’t pay much attention to Xia Wan.
Gradually, Zhou Shui became bolder. Previously, while picking up Xia Wan, he would say bitter things under the guise of taking care.
However, after yesterday’s drama, even though Zhou Shui wasn’t there, he quickly altered his approach today.
Looking at Zhou Shui’s dazed expression, Xia Wan couldn’t help but think about how power makes people change their attitude.
“Are you blaming me?” Zhou Shui raised his hand as he spoke as if to slap himself, “Do you want me to apologize to you?”
The two have been standing for a while, and they have already attracted passing students.
Of course, Zhou Shui was only putting on an act, knowing the original owner’s temperament, he wouldn’t actually slap his own face.
But what Zhou Shui didn’t know was that the original owner was long gone.
Xia Wan put his hand in the windbreaker pocket. He raised his chin slightly, and looked at him arrogantly and playfully.
Today, he would vent his anger on behalf of the original owner.
“Smack, smack, smack…” With a few crisp sounds, Zhou Shui hit himself in the face. He couldn’t figure out why the dough-like person had completely changed overnight.
“Fine, sir, I don’t have any time to waste, and I won’t argue with you,” Xia Wan declared, disregarding the onlookers. He raised his voice loud enough for everyone nearby to hear, “You are not young anymore. You need to learn how to be respectful of others in the future.”
After speaking, he turned around and left, leaving Zhou Shui alone. After hearing Xia Wan’s words, the spectators naturally thought that this was just Zhou Shui’s unilateral problem.
When the crowd dispersed, Zhou Shui realized that the box of crab roe buns in his hand hadn’t been delivered yet. “Bah! What the hell!” He spat at his feet bitterly before dialing the phone to Huo Lin.
……
As soon as he left the interview venue, Huo Lin’s face sank.
“Who are you showing that stinky face to?” Huo Peixue snorted coldly.
“I’ve been eyeing that car for a while, and you never mentioned it.
It only arrived last night, and you’ve already sorted everything out so early in the morning just for him,” Huo Lin expressed in frustration. “Aren’t you getting too immersed in the drama?”
“What did you say?” Huo Peixue stopped abruptly.
“He stole my spotlight and ruined my engagement party. Now I have to give him my car?” Huo Lin resisted, but his voice gradually lowered under Huo Peixue’s gaze. “Sometimes, I seriously doubt if he’s truly your biological child.”
“You ungrateful brat,” Huo Peixue scolded Huo Lin in a hushed tone, “Who am I doing all this for? If it weren’t for the rumors you and Qiu Qiu stirred up last night, I could have had a good night’s sleep, instead I was busy saving you from the mess.”
Huo Lin lowered his head guiltily and whispered in defense, “Can you blame me?”
Seeing Huo Peixue’s expression turn worse, Huo Lin’s phone suddenly rang in his pocket, saving him from the angry glare.
“Answer the phone first,” Huo Peixue snorted coldly, concerned that it might delay important matters.
“Hello,” Huo Lin answered the phone, lowering his voice, “How’s it going over there?” After the other person spoke, Huo Lin remained silent for a moment before responding, “Okay, I understand. We’ll discuss it later.”
“What’s the matter?” Huo Peixue couldn’t help but ask, noticing that Huo Lin’s expression had worsened after the phone call.
“It’s okay!” Though Huo Lin said it was okay, his mood became even more depressed.
“I don’t care about your petty issues outside, but listen carefully,” Huo Peixue was furious at his timid son, deeply despising his weakness. “From now on, you only have one person in your life – Qiu Qi. And, don’t you dare utter what you said today in front of me to anyone else again.”
Listening to Huo Peixue’s scolding, Huo Lin seethed with anger from inside. But he chose to remain silent.
“Did you hear that?” Huo Peixue yelled loudly, then cursed in a low voice, “You are a fool, There’s no improvement in you. No matter how hard I try, I’m afraid you won’t be able to keep this company.”
After finishing, he didn’t look at Huo Lin again and strode forward.
Shortly after returning last night, the elders of Huo and Qiu’s family learned about the events at the engagement banquet.
No one expected that after the official party ended, these younger ones would play more tricks.
Qiu Qi was far better as compared to Huo Lin. Having been pampered by his family since birth. Old man Qiu only said a few words at most.
But for Huo Lin, it was a whole different story.
He has spent his entire childhood under Huo Yu’s aura. Perhaps it was because the other party was too good. No matter how hard he tried, Huo Peixue was always dissatisfied with him, he (HP) wanted Huo Lin to improve more and more.
This intense desire for his son’s success didn’t gradually ease until Huo Yu went abroad for his first year of high school.
But now Huo Yu was back.
In stark contrast to Huo Peixue’s attitude towards him, Huo Peixue was much more easy-going and indulgent towards Huo Yu, doting on him to the extreme.
And this time Huo Lin confronted Huo Yu head-on, how could Huo Peixue not be angry?
It wasn’t until Huo Peixue’s figure disappeared in front of him that Huo Lin vented the suppressed anger in his heart.
Old and new resentment surged simultaneously, and he bitterly slammed his fist against the wall.
In his eyes, the Huo family was entirely in the hands of the father and son. Not to mention Huo Yu; even if his uncle Huo Peifeng came back to life, he didn’t feel anything to fear.
“Hmph.” Huo Lin sneered.
Sooner or later he’s going to do something big to prove to his father that he’s been right all along.
Xia Wan briskly walked back to the dormitory, and Su Tang, hearing the commotion, climbed down from the upper bunk.
“Wan Bao,” Su Tang explained, “I didn’t know you were with Huo Yu at that time.”
“What, what are you doing?” Xia Wan dodged his bear hug with lingering fear.
Su Tang confessed, “I just found out about it at the time, and I was indeed a little excited.”
“Okay,” Xia Wan glanced at him, “Huo Yu is not angry.”
“Really?” Su Tang rolled his eyes meaningfully, “It seems that he treats you well?”
Xia Wan didn’t have many friends before, and when he faced Su Tang, who was very kind and lovely, it didn’t take much time for Xia Wan to put down his guard and get together with the other party.
“Tangtang,” Xia Wan asked in a low voice, “Have you ever been in love? Do you understand relationships?”
“What?” Su Tang’s eyes widened, “Don’t tell me, you are in a serious relationship with Huo Yu?”
As soon as Su Tang finished speaking, he raised his head and looked around. Fu Ling was wearing earphones and listening to something. While the new cold-faced king of hell was sitting at the desk and drawing pictures, no one paid attention to them.
“I told you a long time ago not to get involved with members of the Huo family, but you didn’t listen. And now, you’ve entangled yourself with Huo Yu. Do you even know him?” Su Tang said.
Su Tang’s aunt was someone who did business with the Huo family.
Shaking his head, Xia Wan humbly asked for advice, “Do you know him?”
“Where would I find him?” Su Tang said, “All I know is that he doesn’t talk much, and until now, he has been abroad. So after he came back to China, he was so cold that no one was able to chat with him. But I heard that he’s good at business management. Even if he wants to manage the Huo family’s business, it’s meaningless; he only knows how to engage in art.”
“Huh?” Xia Wan was taken aback. This was different from what was written in the book.
Su Tang said cheerfully, “But I’ve seen Huo Yu once – that face, that figure, tsk tsk tsk…” He rolled his eyes, looked at Xia Wan, and said, “But no doubt, spending time with him would be exciting, not bad!”
Xia Wan:”…”
He had only read the book that briefly mentioned Huo Yu as a very reserved person, but he hadn’t come across anything about Huo Yu’s personal matters.
Like a gentle brush sweeping into the pit of his heart, Xia Wan felt an itchy and unbearable sensation for a moment. He lowered his voice and asked, “Have you tried it?”
“I’ve only tried it on others, not him,” Su Tang hurriedly clarified.
As he spoke, his face gradually changed from sunny to cloudy, as if his interest had greatly diminished. “Tsk, it was just like using a tool.”
So, it doesn’t feel good? Xia Wan wondered.
As if sensing Xia Wan’s doubts, Su Tang explained in a low voice, “It was cool, but that person was a bit annoying.”
Not compatible in bed? Instantly, Xia Wan’s mind was flooded with various unfriendly gestures, imagining a lack of harmony and discomfort in intimate moments.
“Cough. Tangtang.” Anyway, Su Tang seemed to be very experienced, so Xia Wan decided to ask about something else. “I want to ask you something for a friend, can I?”
“Sure,” Su Tang responded generously.
“It’s not me, it’s a friend,” Xia Wan emphasized again. “If I mean, if two people get a certificate, and one of them doesn’t want to have a relationship, is it possible for the other to force the other to…?”
“Wow,” Fu Ling took off his earphones at some point and was lying on top of his bunk, eavesdropping on their conversation. When he heard the words, his voice wanted to pierce the sky. “Wanwan, are you married?”
Xia Wan wanted to explain, but when he raised his head, he met three pairs of eyes.
Su Tang mirrored Fu Ling’s expression, and even Shen Xing, the usually cold-faced King of Hell, turned his body halfway with a raised brow, showing unexpected interest in the conversation.
Xia Wan: “…”

Got it! Finally! Yay! Thank you for Wonderful Translation!🎉
How do you get password , I have logged in discord
To read the other channels you have to remove your Newbie status by writing a keyword in the #welcome channel but it’s all explained there. At first I couldn’t enter some but after I left and tried the invite again (+ removed Newbie status again) it worked.😁 Maybe because I was locked in at this site(chrysanthemum garden) only the second time?🤔
Hi, how do you remove your newbie status? I’m already a member and access the PW once before but now I can’t. I even went to the #welcome but no changes. Every time I click and the invite will come out again. What should I do?
I can’t access the PW area although I was a member 2 months ago. What should I do?
Have you joined the group? Try to rejoin it again. And maybe you can contact the group admin @Mysleepy they will solve it for you
Why can’t I access password , before I was able to now not why ?
Hi, I have lifted the password lock but for extra chapter you need the password. I suggest to solve it with the admin as they are more knowledged in this as compared to me 😄
