Gun barrel: a person who shoots off his mouth.

Heaven’s river: This refers to the (sight of) milky way. The ancient Chinese had a legend regarding the milky way, and it was known as heaven’s river.

Project Rainbow, also known as the Philadelphia Experiment, is an alleged military experiment supposed to have been carried out by the U.S. Navy at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, sometime around October 28, 1943. The U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS Eldridge was claimed to have been rendered invisible (or “cloaked”) to enemy devices.

The story first appeared in 1955, in letters of unknown origin sent to a writer and astronomer, Morris K. Jessup. It is widely understood to be a hoax; the U.S. Navy maintains that no such experiment was ever conducted, that the details of the story contradict well-established facts about USS Eldridge, and that the alleged claims do not conform to known physical laws. 1. Ethan should stop relying on Tanisiel

Can’t weaker people do anything other than relying on stronger alphas? Like omega samuel who knows how to fight. I want ethan to toughen up and indulge himself on dangerous missions to gain experience and practice self denfence. sigh*

    • Psst, ur word do make sense but don’t expect Ethan can suddenly transform to some strong muscle man instant.

Yeah samuel is omega but he didn’t ‘recently’ hid it, he spend his day as boxer, making a life as ‘alpha’. Ethan just ordinary government officer, thou he do exercise sometimes, it’s couldn’t worth much against the criminal that has done the ‘worst’ with their own hand.😅

  2. There are two historical socio-political points at play here:

    1.

The first step in war is dehumanization of the enemy. Because, people have morals about doing bad things to other people, but once you reduce a group to not-human, all sorts of atrocities can be committed.

    2.

If you repress or heavily control a society, it will turn against the government sooner or later … unless you give it an enemy. It doesn’t even need to be a real enemy. The fear and sense of belonging to the group will then keep people in line.
