2. If only this didn’t have incest and pedophilic type of love story , it would have been a great arc.

     from first chapter of this arc: “It turned out that both Zhou Xu’s parents had died when he was a child
     and was adopted by his uncle who just turned eighteen. The uncle was not
     his biological uncle either, he was a child adopted by his grandparents
     on his mother’s side.”

     and there’s no pedophilic, because: “Pedophilia is a psychiatric disorder in which an adult or older adolescent experiences a primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children.”

     • They are family nonetheless, it’s incest,you don’t have to be blood related for it to be incest. It’s pedophilic because the uncle raised this child, and for anyone with eyes and a brain that is grooming, no decent person would be attracted to the nephew they raised since they were a toddler. Don’t try to justify something that is clearly wrong.

       • Actually it’s not so bad, in one novel was Ancient China arc where MC was Emperor (son of the deceased Emperor) and ML was Regent (blood-related brother of the deceased Emperor), so it was crazy

         • I think i skipped that one too, this is a genuinely good story, but sometimes the author just goes batshit crazy with the love lines. I draw my line at incest, it’s such a popular trope, and i just can’t like it! it’s too weird, and i have been around aaaaaaall the fanfics in ao3 and wattpad, which is another level of fucked up.
