    This is my favorite danmei of 2021 (I MTLed the whole thing as soon as Huai Shang posted the last chapter back in May), and I cannot tell you enough how much I am loving your translation. It’s the highlight of my Sunday. And this arc is so exciting too.

    This chapter suffered in the MTL and now it just gives me such good chills to read the real translation. The details are so beautiful and creepy. TSN really is one of those stories that’s best read twice.

    I’ve seen a few comments about Xu Bai here and there. He’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea since he is a possessive lover (which is the type I feel that Huai Shang writes the very best, tbh), but I would ask that everyone hold off on casting judgement on him just yet. He and Gong Wei have a long history with each other that’s barely been touched on so far, and both are operating under some strong misconceptions.
