  3. I was just about to protest a seven year time skip (totally predictable so I’m mostly kidding minus mourning the end of cute little kid moments) when that mini-theater cheered me up! What’s seven years? Only teenagers! So close and yet, so far… patience Dan Yi! Haha!

      • I get that! Like, its hard for the plot to advance too much when the main characters are so little! Impossible for any real romantic progression either minus the very beginning of a crush perhaps. I just loved seeing them interact as kiddos! Very cute little buns, and clever too!

    I first thought that the Cheng fam was killed by that sect head. (And bc of that, killing that person was the price to pay for the answer of heaven rank. You know, like “We killed that person, so who wiped out our family?” – “The person you just killed. (lol)”.) But what would be funny too were when Zimo’s mother survived that fall (since they didn’t really searched for her body?) and hired that Bloodblade smth merchants lol

  8. You know it’s so strange to me that the author’s note is about how kids like the main couple, ie young teens, can’t do X rated things. But then they go on to state that kids in ancient times can be as young as 12 when they get married off and start having kids of their own. I wish writers would stop contradicting themselves in their world building lmao. Either 12 is fine and dandy for marriage/sex/kids, or it isn’t. Imo they should be much, much older regardless. But alright, end of the weird rant.

    I’m happy for the time skip and that Zimo is free of his aunt!

      • Yeah generally they could marry very young. And that’s the rules the authors take on and reinforce. Then they act like it’s scandalous when they could just change that rule since they’re writing the story! Instead of saying 12 year olds can get married, bump it up to 17 or 18, especially if you’re going to say the main couple is too young to kiss at like, fifteen.

  12. So glad time passed. As cute as they are as kids…this is a bl story that they should be old enough…still need to be older though. Interesting storyline so far though.
