Mu Chen genuinely wanted to marry Mu Yan, but he was afraid that he wouldn’t be able to offer Mu Yan a comfortable life and that he didn’t deserve Mu Yan. He considered waiting, waiting for himself to start a job, and then coming to propose to Mu Yan when he was ready. But he didn’t expect… the other party to propose first.

Mu Chen was both excited and frustrated at this point. Despite the fact that he was meant to do it, he let Mumu do it owing to his own negligence and lack of confidence. Furthermore, he made Mumu unhappy. JrhQ3G

“Yes.” Hearing Mu Chen’s proposal, which did not appear to be a marriage proposal, Mu Yan nodded quietly, feeling shy on the inside.

“Don’t worry, Mumu, I will definitely provide you with an unforgettable wedding. I will love, protect, and cherish you for the rest of my life.” Mu Chen vowed with steadfastness and seriousness.

Mu Yan shrunk himself even smaller due to his nervousness, and the entire person was huddled in Mu Chen’s broad arms. A small one, it was easy to hold.

As a result, when Yang Wenyao and Lin Jiayu discovered Mu Yan and Mu Chen were together, they were already talking about marriage, and the rapidity with which they did so rendered them unable to recover for a long time. ZdJp0A

Yang Wenyao called Mu Chen immediately, while Lin Jiayu remained behind to speak with Mu Yan privately.

Lin Jiayu, although being a woman, had always considered Mu Yan to be her family and younger generation, therefore she did not feel strange conversing with him.

“Yanyan, have you really considered it? You are only sixteen years old now, and you are still underage. It’s too soon to get married.” Lin Jiayu responded politely.

Mu Yan, in her opinion, was still extremely young and had a limited knowledge of emotions. What should he do if he later meets other people he likes?

Although people could divorce even after getting married nowadays, divorce was always bad, and partnerships should be steady. Therefore, she believed it was best to wait until Mu Yan completely recognized his feelings before contemplating marriage.

“No, I’m already an adult, other people my age already have babies.” Although Aunt Lin’s gender here was the same as his in his world, Mu Yan still felt embarrassed in front of Aunt Lin.

Furthermore, at his current age, he should have married and had a child with a man long ago. It wasn’t even too early.

Lin Jiayu was taken aback when she heard this. She didn’t expect that Mu Yan’s hometown would be even more backward than theirs. She had no idea where it was and had married at such a young age. But she also realized that it wasn’t impossible. It was stated that their ancestors were able to marry and have children when they were in their teens a long time ago. Aso5hl

Lin Jiayu could no longer persuade Mu Yan; after all, persuasion was not the same as dissuasion. Furthermore, she could tell Mu Yan liked Mu Chen. It was now up to Mu Chen’s attitude. If they were interested in each other, they wouldn’t mind acting as family members to witness the couple’s wedding.

Yang Wenyao, on the other hand, had a grim expression on his face from the beginning to the end. His appearance was that of a father-in-law marrying a daughter and confronted by a prospective son-in-law. His visage was unappealing no matter how they looked at it.

This was the most serious issue that existed between Mu Yan and Mu Chen at the time. Because no one knew what kind of guy Mu Chen used to be, what his family situation was like, and if he really did have a wife, it would almost certainly be Mu Yan who suffered the most.

Mu Chen’s thin lips pursed slightly, his gaze darkened, and it was clear that he was really considering the subject. Following that, he stated emphatically, “Although I don’t remember the past, I can be certain that my feelings for Mumu will never change due to anything.”

“What about if you already have a family?” Yang Wenyao persisted in his aggressiveness.

“I’m sure, I’ve never been married before!” Mu Chen stated unequivocally. Acn15b

Despite the fact that there was no evidence for this assertion, his intuition was so strong. “Even if I were truly married, I would never cause Mumu any harm. I’ll take care of everything. If Mumu agrees, I’ll live with him for the rest of my life.”

Yang Wenyao’s eyes glowed with sophistication as he asked, “Would you be willing to spend your entire life living with Yanyan on such a backward planet? There is no advanced technology, no intergalactic network, and no decent living conditions.”

Mu Chen was the one who didn’t hesitate and stated unequivocally that he didn’t mind living on such a backward planet. He felt quite comfortable and enjoyable there as long as Mumu was with him.

Yang Wenyao had always been good at judging people. He knew what Mu Chen had just stated was true. He expressed exactly what he believed. NYTdRw

He took a step forward and patted him on the shoulder. “I bless you, and in the future I will leave Yanyan to you. You must treat him with respect and not allow him to be wronged. Otherwise, I would never lightly spare you.”

“There will be no chance.” Everything remained silent as the two of them exchanged smiles.

Mu Yan and Mu Chen’s marriage was resolved in this manner. Lin Jiayu began to assist them with all of the job because neither of them had family members. Lin Jiayu thoroughly considered all of the wedding supplies and details to consider.

People in Taohua Village heard the news and came to congratulate them one by one, especially those who had been won over by Mu Yan’s steamed buns and scallion pancakes. Every time they came in to get steamed buns, they would congratulate them. J8XwV

“Congratulations, Big Boss and Little Boss. When you get married, don’t forget to treat us to a wedding banquet,” a customer added, smiling and carrying the bun he had purchased.

“En.” Mu Chen responded briefly.

Customers had grown accustomed to Mu Chen’s aloof demeanor, and they didn’t mind. However, there were some new customers who didn’t know and thought he was too frigid.

“Why is his attitude so cold when people congratulate him? He doesn’t know how to smile? Those who don’t know believe he is unhappy with his marriage.” PqNlH1

A new customer couldn’t help but comment to those around him.

“Oh, Big Boss is just like that. With the exception of Little Boss, he exhibits this attitude with everyone. We’ve been used to it for a long time, and if you come back a few more times, you’ll adjust.” His companion made him laugh and enlightened him.

“Can his future partner tolerate his coldness?” The person envisioned that his future companion would always have a frigid expression on his face, making him feel absolutely intolerable.

“He is quite nice to the Little Boss. He’s very nice and doting on his partner, tsk tsk tsk… People who have not witnessed it with their own eyes cannot imagine it.  Only when confronted with the Little Boss will he melt the iceberg.” mRqxCE

“That’s right, I guess all his gentleness and expression have been given to the Little Boss. Isn’t it what everyone else notices about him?” Another person joined in on the joke.

The new consumer still couldn’t picture what others meant by tenderness. He simply thought that this guy was chilly, and that this was true of everyone. It was impossible to envision his sweet expression, wasn’t it?

But the new customer immediately noticed the spectacle that everyone was talking about.

Mu Yan stepped out with a bowl of freshly cooked buns, and the new customer was treated to a live version of the iceberg melting scene. ZlWk1D

Mu Chen, who had a cold expression at first, glanced at Mu Yan with compassionate eyes in an instant. With a soft tone, he took Mu Yan’s bun bowl and greeted him. That customer was taken aback by his appearance of liking one’s lover.

“Did you notice that? This is a form of differential treatment.” The elderly customer smiled and chatted, at times taunting the Little Boss. Then he saw the Little Boss blush and the Big Boss sneer, and he laughed even louder.

Everyone soon recognized that overwhelming joy breeds tremendous despair.

“The business will be closed starting from tomorrow!” Regardless of everyone’s sobbing, Mu Chen said coldly. He persuaded Mu Yan into the house and finished picking up buns for customers swiftly. He quickly turned back, and shut the door, leaving behind a gathering of somber customers. cZPBJW

“Ah Chen, because we won’t be selling steamed buns tomorrow, I’d like to go to the forest to gather more ingredients.” Mu Yan talked with Mu Chen.

Their wedding date was set two months later, and according to Lin Jiayu it was an auspicious day for the two. Mu Yan and Mu Chen were both pleased with this outcome.

Mu Yan had been looking forward to this wedding for a long time, and he was still getting married to the person he liked. The wedding banquet must be well-organized in order to make all guests pleased and satisfied.

As a result, Mu Yan planned to use this time to find more ingredients, which he would subsequently prepare at the wedding banquet for the guests who had come to try. ZJ9cOd

In this world, there was only one type of wedding ceremony. Even if there was a banquet, it was only for everyone to talk to one another and there was no food.

However, in Mu Yan’s world, marriage required an invitation to a banquet. Despite the fact that the current circumstances were inadequate, Mu Yan hoped to do his best.

“I’ve already informed the customers that the store will be closed tomorrow, and I will accompany you wherever you wish,” said Mu Chen.

“Thank you very much, Ah Chen. I really like you.” Mu Yan shyly leaned his head against him, and took the initiative to hug Mu Chen. kxdOc

He had felt quite happy and fortunate since he arrived in this world. After coming here, his fantasies that he had never dared to dream of previously were practically realized.

Mu Chen hugged Mu Yan, stroking his hair, knowing he wasn’t the only fortunate person.

“I like you as well.” Mu Chen expressed this in a loving tone.

Although he didn’t recall the past, he always felt that ‘it is easier to change mountains and rivers than to alter one’s character’. plI0uh

His personality should not have changed much from before, but he always believed that in his impression, he would not have said such wonderful love words. However, when he was in front of Mu Yan, these love phrases always came freely from his mouth and heart.

“Ah Chen, you know, I used to wonder what kind of person I’d marry. Maybe he’d fall in love with me, start a tiny family with me, have our child, and we’d always have a pleasant and tranquil existence together.

“However, no one came to my house to offer marriage to me until I was of marriageable age. I was worried that these wishes would not come true.” Mu Yan exhaled deeply and leaned into Mu Chen’s arms.

“No, I will show up.” Mu Chen hugged Mu Yan with heartache, feeling extremely fortunate that no one came to propose marriage to Mu Yan before him. Otherwise, what should he do? Zr6hVg

  1. I feel like the “divorce is always bad” comment comes from the idea that you shouldn’t have to get a divorce; hopefully, nothing will make you unhappy with your partner.

  2. I’m making a list of things the author lacks knowledge of:

    1) Mushrooms

    2) Average childhood development

    3) Cooking

    4) Botany

    5) Microbiology

    6) Divorce

Off the top of my head. XD

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR BEING AWESOME!!!

  3. I can’t help but wonder what Jiang Chenxi’s subordinates reaction to finding out Thier boss is already getting married while they have been searching for him everywhere wondering if his dead or alive😂😅

  4. This thing with “divorce is alway bad” is that it’s mean that things went wrong. Rather it should be said “if it end up in a divorce that mean it was never meant to be in the first place” It was a mistake. The wrong person or the wrong time , a mistake was made and it al ended up in a failure. My parents divorced when I was 19 but I had always feel like that should have separated since when I was 8. Something happened at that time, I don’t know the truth, just one side of the story, so I can’t tell but I know it was bad enough for my parents to separate their goods/things since then. They never shared ownership on anything since then.
