  11. Can’t say that I cared much for Di Lin, but he was tolerable. Hydin’s personality was delightful. I particularly enjoy intelligent characters with an appreciable sense of humor. I’ve found that intelligence seems to be a trait hard to come by in many stories…

The person I like the most is Suo Suo the first part of the book was amazing until the author decided to focus on Di Lin and Hydin all his other friends suddenly become waste only there for MC to shine, they have no glory or achievements whatsoever on their own. They keep talking how amazing Suo Suo is how powerful he is but yet people making joke about him even though they know his powers are sealed, and I don’t see any teachers truly helping. Until the very end of the book, we don’t see his true ability only for him to gone missing in the end 🤦🏽‍♀️ For me this is a sad book, really wasn’t expecting the both of them brotherly wood to become so distant honestly. Because of the promise that was made at the beginning, I thought they wood strive together till the very end. At one point i was even shipping them together.
