It wasn’t a flashback. After they chased relativity and then gave up, he met up with “Boss Jin” and afte they met, Piggy Shampoo started moving in the suitcase they left behind. In the next chapter, there was a time jump that the author clued is in to by saying that the patients weren’t allowed to leave the hospital for two weeks.
