Dog Training (ABO)Ch69 - A dreamless night

He still remembered what Feng Zhan had said before, that he now lived in his place, and the only usefulness he had was his Omega status…

He was afraid that this man might actually have such intentions later on. ZeQ6O

However, this time, it seemed that Ruan Xiao had overthought. After noticing the caution in Ruan Xiao’s eyes, Feng Zhan seemed to realize something. He didn’t say or do anything, just looked at him with a complex expression and then left the room.

Now Ruan Xiao was even more puzzled. Feng Zhan rarely made him so happy, shouldn’t he take advantage of the opportunity? Why did he come to his room in the middle of the night? What was there to see in the sleeping face of an old disabled man?

Chrysanthemum Garden.

Although Feng Zhan’s behavior was somewhat puzzling, Ruan Xiao didn’t dwell on it. After going back to sleep, he had a dreamless night.

Thinking about Feng Zhan’s sudden appearance in his room last night, Ruan Xiao almost guessed what had happened. He couldn’t help but chuckle, finding it all rather boring.

Even though he thought this way, Ruan Xiao didn’t take off the ring again. It wasn’t because he harbored any unrealistic fantasies; a meaningless ring was just an accessory, and whether he wore it or not didn’t matter. Since Feng Zhan wanted him to wear it and he was still staying at Feng Zhan’s house, there was no need to upset the man over such trivial matters.

When he arrived at the dining room, he found Feng Zhan there, sitting on the sofa and reviewing electronic contracts on his tablet. Breakfast was already set on the table. Seeing Ruan Xiao coming down, Feng Zhan finished looking at the contract, closed his tablet, and stood up to join the table for the meal.

Ruan Xiao had grown accustomed to having meals with Feng Zhan. He, as usual, quietly enjoyed the breakfast in front of him.

He could feel Feng Zhan’s gaze subtly scanning over him, finally settling on the ring on his finger.

Feng Zhan didn’t explain why he insisted on retrieving the ring that had already been thrown away and putting it back on his finger. The two of them ate their meal in silence, but Ruan Xiao could vaguely sense that the man across from him was unexpectedly in a good mood.

Seeing that Ruan Xiao had almost finished eating, Feng Zhan suddenly took the initiative to speak. dMePC6

“This morning, I received a call from Dr. Xiao Jin’s attending physician. He informed me that the results of the recent examination of Xiao Jin’s gland came out.”

Hearing Feng Zhan mention Ruan Jin, Ruan Xiao put down his chopsticks and looked at the man opposite him, urging him to continue.

“His gland has recovered well after the injection of your μ-cell serum. According to his current condition, the gland injection, which used to be weekly, can now be extended to every other week. So, in the future, there won’t be a need to extract μ-cells from you so frequently.”

The news that there won’t be a need to extract μ-cells every week was indeed good for Ruan Xiao. Unable to hold back, he asked, “How much longer until he fully recovers?” t5S9ab

Feng Zhan replied truthfully, “It depends on the progress of the treatment, but it shouldn’t be too long.”

Ruan Xiao nodded slightly. In this matter, Feng Zhan had no reason to deceive him. Now, he only hoped for Ruan Jin’s swift recovery, so he could leave this place of turmoil and continue his own peaceful life.

    • I made an account just to comment on this. I feel like his thoughts about not throwing trash ring away is the right thing. ‘Cause, if he did throw it away, it would seem like he still somehow cared about what the ring represented. Now, by not throwing it away, his indifference to what it represent should be the most decisive factor to his well being. Who cares about what the scum thought? what’s important is how he felt about it, and how he merely thought of the ring as a useless accessory, a pretty hard decision especially for a person whom you loved previously, and if FZ ever knew how he thought, ohh~ how torn he would be 😈 But its dog blood so giving him the benefit of the doubt, let him think that way. What mattered most is what our pookie thinks, a useless ring, and having nothing to do with the man. ‘Cause the more he fights, the more complications, more hurt. Indifference of a stranger is the most hurtful thing to a person you once knew.
  1. Ew

Like. This is too toxic ew. But i’ll still read it because translator placed in effort and is spewing out chapters like a machine. Also going to read because i respect author. If you write books that annoy the readers, mad respect. That is kinky.

But fookin hell I am MAD at this sad excuse of an alpha

      • Me too, the creativity at work in Chinese novels is honestly insane compared to the snoozefests of western romance and harlequin style novels, tho perhaps I’m not reading the right books. I think it’s quite difficult to write things that don’t provide the immediate relief though, since that’s the easy thing to do, so kudos to the author fr. And thank you to the translator of course!!

  2. WTF! Stockholm syndrome? Numbed to the point of apathy? What? Is FZ’s brand of stupid this contagious? I’m reading through hoping to find illumination for RX soon. Else, I would have dropped this idiotic story a long time ago. I guess that makes me an idiot as well.
