  1. Thank you for the chapter. Still want to wring Shen Bozong’s neck but hey we can’t always have it all… QAQ

  2. I have no words for the level of disgust I feel for Shen Bozong. I wish Su Ya would grow more self-respect,, don’t waste your life on such a flaming piece of trash, girl!!

  3. I think this was not handled right’ because SQ is acting like his dad of a sound mind wan he actually is not. The man clearly sick he needs treatment not punitive judgment. I’m not saying it was not scummy of him to cheat. But clearly he hasn’t been right from the moment his wife died’ so instead of spewing hate SQ should have had him committed. I’m not saying SQ need to forgive his dad. I’m just saying he shouldn’t confront him as if the dude was of a sound mind.

    • To the user mentioning that the issue was not handled right, hello, I have to disagree strongly. First of all, out of everyone here, SQ is the biggest victim. He was young when he was forced to see with his own eyes on how his father practically forced her mum to her death. And along the way, whether he was sound minded or not, he frequently took in mistress and tried to use disgusting methods to get his son to accept them. And don’t forget how he tried to use rumors about his long dead wife just to control his son. And to add in, he took action on trying to HARM his own son’s hands just to stop him from competing. All these happen from he was a young kid to a teenager, young adult and now finally somewhat an adult. He went through shit during this period because of his dad. Why’d you expect the victim always have to sacrifice themselves emotionally? He’s already very estranged with his father since young, just because their blood related, emotions can die off too. Re u asking SQ to confront his father in an insane way? His father could even somehow sneakily try setting up rumors again even when he’s somewhat isolated in an overseas hospital, he is crazy but not stupid. He’s just trying to hold on to SQ for the last time and attempt to control him. @ealhyac.lorente
  4. SBZ is a typical example of toxic parental love. He’s the kind of parent who genuinely feels like his actions and words are done with care, when in fact everything he does makes his child suffer unimaginable torment. It’s really sad to know that IRL, there are parents like him who exist…. In fact, my parents are quite similar, so this kind of story makes me more emotional even though the writing and plot isn’t the most unique or spectacular. But it’s a blessing that SQ knew that his dad was a scumbag from an early age, rather than discovering it gradually which might have been even more painful. After all, a sharp knife is less painful than a dull spoon when it’s used to dig your heart out.
  5. Yes, Shen Qi, confront him that way. What “not of sound mind” ? Now that bro’s gotten the karma that he deserves from all the cheating and disrespect he’s done, then he should be treated like a fragile, vulnerable person? My gosh, please.

  6. Ohh…. this is a really sad ending for both the father and son. But ig it’s karma for SBozong when he used to cheat on QWanyun. It feels bitter tho because I think he really wants SQ to live the best life out there. Him having psychosis is not a reason to forgive all his wrongdoings though
