How To Kill A King

The King tilted his head to the side, violet eyes taking in Min-jun’s face. “I’ll change your mind, then.”

“You’ll regret it.”

“It’s the second time you’ve told me this. My answer remains the same. I really don’t think I will.”

Seven years ago, Min-jun watched his parents die at the orders of the King. Now twenty-four and bearing a blinding fury on his shoulders, he enters the Palace. His mission is simple: Kill the King and run. But in no time at all, it appears that the tables had turned, and Min-jun is suddenly being seduced by the King instead. It’s all rather vexing, but he won’t be swayed so easily. Not by the King’s pretty face, nor his gifts, nor his faux kindness (faux because it couldn’t possibly be genuine). Min-jun must bring things to a close, but goodness, the
