  6. It’s hard to explain but i don’t really like the recent developments… I thought ye muo was the mc but in fact he’s like the third character. This seems more like nortons fever dream where he gets to solve all his regrets in one go. So convenient for him, ye muo doesn’t resent his near death at his hands because he was neglected; just when norton thought he wanted to be there for young muo, suddenly now he is. Ye he too, that amnesia was quite convenient for him. Ye muo is more like a convenient filler for the plot, without anyone actually having to earn his forgiveness or understanding his feelings. If someone really cared, they would offer him some form of therapy for his issues and only after he’s able to set his own boundaries should they come for forgiveness. Because honestly only then is it actual forgiveness unlike now where his feelings are swept clean by amnesia or regression.

But like you I feel a bit meh about it for all the reasons you mentioned. Oh I still excitedly click the link every time I see an update, LOL nothing changed there!!), but I’m also secretly looking forward to pushing through to the next arc.
