Song Xiao

He usually has a ruthless and cold manner, but is awkward in front of his lover, and is revealed to have read romance books so that he could woo Song Xiao. In his past life, he was titled Emperor Jingyuan.
He is the class monitor of Special Class One, and later becomes the president of the student union. He took over the Dari Media shares from his father in order to help Song Xiao.
Dugu An
The chief of the secret guards for the emperor in his past life. He retained his memories of his past life in the modern era, and began serving Yu Tang as a secret guard shortly after Yu Tang regained his memories.
Li Weiwei
Known by his stage name David, he was Song Xiao’s only friend before Song Xiao transmigrated into the modern world, and is the young master of Wujin Audio Cooperation.
Song Zicheng
Song Xiao’s father, who owns Xinghai Entertainment. He has multiple mistresses, and is shown to be greedy in making connections, such as urging Song Xiao to be good friends with Yu Tang in order to have a good relationship with the prominent Yu family.
Si Dashu
Song Zicheng’s assistant.
Qiu Mingyan
Song Zicheng’s main mistress. She is publicly in a relationship with Song Zicheng, but is later revealed to have been secretly dating Song Zicheng even when his wife was still alive. She went to America in order to secretly give birth to Song Zicheng’s child.
Song Zheng
The illegitimate daughter of Song Zicheng and Qiu Mingyan. She often bullied the original, modern Song Xiao before his transmigration, and was the cause of Song Xiao’s head injury right before he transmigrated.
Zhuo Jingjing
Song Zicheng’s other mistress. She has always hated Qiu Mingyan, and thus seduced Song Zicheng and secretly revealed the fact that Qiu Mingyan had an illegitimate daughter with him, in order to ruin Qiu Mingyan’s reputation.
Yu Miao
Formerly known as Yu Jinmiao, she was and still is Yu Tang’s little sister. In her past life, she died at a young age after being married off to the chief of a foreign land. She is an extremely obedient girl, and is very spoilt by Yu Tang.
Zhang Xiaoren
Formerly an official who colluded with enemy forces in order to assassinate Yu Jintang, he became a husky owned by Yu Tang in this life.
Yu Lin
Formerly known as Yu Jinlin, he is Yu Tang’s younger brother. After Yu Jintang’s reign as emperor, Yu Jinlin ascended the throne, since Yu Jintang didn’t have any sons. Yu Tang often bullies and teases him.

The form teacher for Special Class One, which is Yu Tang and Song Xiao’s class.
Liu Lu
A girl who sits in front of Song Xiao in class. She’s a fan of David.
Qian Jiahui
A boy who sits beside Liu Lu in class. He originally shared a dorm room with Yu Tang, but was later forced to switch with Song Xiao.
Hua jie
A student in Special Class One. She chases after any handsome boy.
Li Bowen
A student in Special Class One. He is the only student who got into the special class not because of money, but because of his advanced maths skills. He’s fat and unhygienic, and also has dandruff, which led to his nickname Snowflake ge. He originally shared a dorm room with Song Xiao, but later shared with Qian Jiahui.
4G
Abbreviation for Four Grasses, 4G is a group of handsome young masters from Special Class Three who paid the school extra money to be allowed to dress however they wanted. They were the direct cause of Song Xiao’s head injury, after being told that he physically abused Song Zheng. They based their personas on a famous tv show called “Meteor Shower”.
They dislike Song Zheng after discovering that she is an illegitimate child, since they can’t stand bastards.

The head of the Ministry of Rites, as well as an investor in Sheng Meng High’s forum. Her family is on friendly terms with the Yu family, therefore she believes she has the closest relationship with Yu Tang in school. She is romantically interested in Yu Tang.
Aunt Cheng
Cheng Xinran’s mother. She’s friends with Mother Yu and seems to want to pair her daughter with Yu Tang in order to secure a connection with the Yu family.
Luo Fei
An actress David mentioned, whom he likes immensely.
Yu Dan
The original owner of Dari Media. He is Yu Tang’s uncle three times removed, and belongs to a side branch of the Yu family. He has many conflicts with Song Zicheng, and thus targets Xinghai Entertainment in order to bring him down. He gave a large portion of the shares to Yu Tang’s father in order to curry favor with the main family.
Yu Fu
Formerly the former emperor, he is Yu Tang’s father. After Yu Tang regained his memories, Yu Dan began to notice his son’s competency, and now willingly discusses business matters with him. His trusts his son enough to willingly hand over the shares of a company to Yu Tang before the latter is of age.
Grandpa Song
Song Zicheng’s father. He is an upright and honest man who is very dissatisfied with the way his son takes in awful, manipulative women as mistresses. He loves Song Xiao very much, even in his past life, as proven when he offered his own life in exchange for Song Xiao’s, when the former emperor wanted to kill Song Xiao.
Mother Yu
Not given a name yet, she is often referred to as the empress dowager. She is a very caring mother, and is said to like simple and honest people who don’t scheme or plot. She also manages Dayu Maternity Hospital.
Liang Xinmu
A famous director, who is on friendly terms with Song Zicheng. He directed the movie “Profound Theory”.
Zhang Yanan
Zhuo Jingjing’s good friend. She’s a doctor at Dayu Maternity Hospital, and helped Zhuo Jingjing fake her medical records.

An actress at the level of a film empress. She is the backbone of Xinghai Entertainment, and possesses quite a lot of shares.

Song Xiao’s maternal grandfather. He is a a recognised calligrapher as well as a famous author who has written many historical non-fiction novels.
President Jiang
The president of the local cultural society in Song Xiao’s hometown. He feels rather bitter towards Grandpa Qu, as the position of president had initially been offered to Grandpa Qu before it fell to him.

A student of Halun University, and a member of the Sunspot Elite Club. Yu Lang’s mother is her aunt.
