This is a paid gig for a commercial yaoi game.
About the game:
Visual novel/point and click style
Estimated length when finished: about 40k words.
The game will be funded through kickstarter after the initial demo is finished. We will commission artists to handle the art.
Strong plot with high sexual tension.
Requirements for writer:
18+ only
This is a long term project, please make sure that you’ll have 4~10hours/week to work on the game for at least 6 months. (Realistically, a year).
Love writing sexy scenes.
Have finished a yaoi story/fanfic before, at least 20k words.
Commitment
I’d prefer to have another partner who can work on this semi-full time (with possibility of full-time work after kickstarter funding is finished), but it’s also fine if you don’t want to, or if you’re busy. However, we still need to work on it at least 4-10hours/week. Taking time off for holidays/ vacation/ exams, etc are all fine! Just tell me first.
The more involved / the more time you put the bigger share / payment you get.
Payment
Ideally full revenue share partnership is the best option for me, but payment upfront (no rev share) is available. Partial revenue share with some payment is also okay.
Tell me your rates. Keep in mind that the less revenue share / more upfront payment it is, the less of a partnership it will be because I’ll be taking most of the risk.
If you want to have a lot of say in the game (character design, art direction, gameplay, etc), take the revenue share partnership.
