Chang Min reached his fourth written chapter for the day, internally sighing as his fingers kept moving on his keyboard.
After a second, he reached for his drink with one hand, bringing it towards his lips to take a sip. Once the cup got near his lips, he missed them and ended up spilling some on his shirt.
“Ugh.” Chang Min groaned, setting his cup back down on his desk as he looked at his now dirty shirt. The wet spot was spreading and sticking a bit to his skin. He pulled at his shirt, taking it off.
Chang Min sighed out loud, almost rolling his eyes as he stepped out of his room. He plans to throw his shirt in the hamper that rested in the bathroom. As he stepped out, Chang Min did not notice his front door opening and closing.
Ye Xun stepped into Chang Min’s house, closing and locking the door behind him as he took off his shoes before hanging up his blazer.
He walked towards the living room, making his way to Chang Min’s room; when he saw Chang Min walking out with no shirt on. Ye Xun raised his eyebrow with a smirk appearing on his face. “Oh, getting ready for me?” Ye Xun teased.
Chang Min stopped in his tracks, looking towards Ye Xun as his words registered with him. A slight blush appeared on his cheeks, “Shut up. I just spilled a bit of my drink on me.”
Then, Chang Min continued walking to the bathroom to put away his dirty shirt. Ye Xun did not mind as he finished making his way to Chang Min’s bedroom, entering it as he sat in Chang Min’s chair. He turned in the chair, waiting for Chang Min to come back.
Entering back into his room, Chang Min went towards his dresser, opening it as he pulled out another shirt, putting it on. After putting on a new shirt, he turned towards Ye Xun before walking towards him and sitting on his lap.
“Hey.” Chang Min smiled, wrapping his arms around Ye Xun’s neck.
“Hey.” Ye Xun responded with a smile, glancing into Chang Min’s eyes. He leaned closer, getting ready to kiss Chang Min when a finger landed on his lips, stopping him.
Chang Min put his finger on Ye Xun’s lips, stopping his kiss before putting it back down, “Hmm, I think someone forgot to call me his boyfriend.”
Chuckling, Ye Xun could not help but say, “Oh? When did I ask you out?”
“Funny. I guess you don’t want any of me then.”

The kiss lasted longer than the other one as Ye Xun set his hands on Chang Min’s upper thighs. Chang Min licked Ye Xun’s lips, causing him to open his mouth. He stuck his tongue inside, exploring and tasting Ye Xun’s mouth.
Ye Xun tasted sweet and bitter like a mocha coffee. Chang Min moaned at the taste, pushing closer as the kiss turned heated. Ye Xun swallowed down the moan, gripping Chang Min’s pants as his nails dug into the fabric.
They made out for a few seconds longer before pulling apart and resting their foreheads on each other. They both were breathing hard, trying to calm down their racing hearts and their blood that wanted to move south.
“Is it fine if we just lay in the bed together and watch a movie?” Chang Min asked.
Ye Xun nodded his head, “That is fine.”
Chang Min kissed him one last time before getting off Ye Xun’s lap and grabbing his hand to drag him to the bed.
“This is fucking ridiculous.” Shao Yuhan cursed as anger coursed through him. He wanted to hit something, more preferably a person.
A man typing away on his keyboard stopped before turning around in his chair. He looked Shao Yuhan up and down, enjoying what he saw as he licked his lips. “Mmh, you look good.”
Shao Yuhan had on black transparent tights with a black lace thong on that barely covered his length. He wore a black lace bra to complete the look.
Shao Yuhan wrapped his arms around himself, feeling cold and exposed. Not even his anger could add some heat to him. “I hate you.” He responded through gritted teeth.
The person leaned back in his seat, spreading his legs wide as he beckoned Shao Yuhan over, “You agreed to this, so don’t just stand there, come here.”
Staring at the spread legs, Shao Yuhan clicked his tongue before walking over to the man. He stopped between his legs before sitting down on his knees and looking up at the person. His eyes filled with annoyance and anger as his hands twitched.
“I only agreed for the fake resume.”
Reaching over, the person put his hand on Shao Yuhan’s head, running his fingers through his hair. “Ah, you know I love this about you. You are so cute, YuYu.”
Shao Yuhan sneered, “I told you not to call me that.”
A chuckle sounded in the room before the said hand gripped Shao Yuhan’s hair hard, pulling his head back. Shao Yuhan deeply inhaled, holding back his wince from the move as his nails dug into his palms.
“Do you know the best thing about you?” The person continued with a smile on his face.
Shao Yuhan hated the man’s smile because he knew what followed right after. Even now, he wonders why he still clings to this man.
Although, he would never admit that he does cling to him.
“What?” Shao Yuhan snapped.
“All you do is just bark.” Then, the person pulled Shao Yuhan’s head towards his covered member. “Now, give me my reward, YuYu.”
Gritting his teeth, Shao Yuhan still picked up his hands to unzip the man’s pants. “I hate you, Yao Zhihao.” He repeated before pulling down Yao Zhihao’s pants and underwear.
Yao Zhihao chuckled once more, loosening his grip on Shao Yuhan’s hair as he ran his fingers through it once more. He could not stop the way his face softened or how he whispered, “I know.”
Li Hua glanced at the picture that her daughter, Li Wei, sent her. She hummed, staring intensely at her phone with no expression.
The picture showed Ye Xun smiling at some boy with long copper hair. It was slightly hard to see the boy’s face, but Li Hua could tell how handsome the boy was.
She took one more glance at the boy before looking at her smiling son. It has been a long time since she had seen her son smile; the last time was most likely before Ye Xun’s father died.
Li Hua wanted to see her son smile in front of her, but at the same time, she did not care for it. She wanted that “happy family” and wished her son would treat her like other children do with their mothers.
She did not care for love and affection; she just wanted the illusion of a loving family in front of others. And the only way for that to happen is if Ye Xun came to her dinners with a happy face.
But, once Ye Xun turned eighteen, she couldn’t get him back to the house even if she begged.
Li Hua clicked her tongue at the thought before an idea hit her. She glanced back at the boy her son looked at like he gave him the world. Hmm, she thought, I know how to get you home, Ye Xun. You should never show your weakness.
Saving the picture, she clicked for a new message.
Li Hua: [attachment] I need you to find the one with the copper hair for me.
Unknown: I am currently busy; I will look at it later.
Li Hua clicked her tongue at the reply, slamming her phone down. But she ignored her anger, not caring for the message as she thought about seeing her son once more.
“You can’t run away this time, Ye Xun.” She spoke out loud.

I thought Li Wei & Ye Xun were step siblings. So why does Li Wei have the mums surname instead of dad’s? It’s rare to see a female taking the husband’s name in Chinese stories
