It is probably based on the tea preparation approaches originated in Fujian and the Chaoshan area of eastern Guangdong. The term literally means “making tea with skill”. Today, the approach is used popularly by teashops carrying tea of Chinese origins, and by tea connoisseurs as a way to maximize the taste of a tea selection, especially a finer one.

  3. Ding Ziyu already suspects Mo Tianliao to be Lord Duantian but he(DZ) still thinks he can kill Tianliao. Kinda stupid if you ask me.

    • He’s a full cultivation realm above him. It’s not a joke.

      Well, it’s true that protagonists can usually ignore any kind of logic in cultivation novels, so maybe it is…

      • Lord Duantian became famous not because of his martial prowess but because of his craftsmanship. One would think that he would make a lot of trump cards to protect himself, right?

        • You’d think we would know if he had made something like that, wouldn’t you? He’s got Taishi, but I don’t think it’s that powerful. Just seems like a flexible weapon. The only other weapons we’ve seen him make are those wooden darts.

          Besides, he might be able to make some powerful weapons, but it’s not like other people can’t make weapons of their own. Maybe they’re not as good, but paired with a cultivation advantage? Also, what if the guy has some formation laid down as a trap? Or just gets some buddies to gank him?

          Honestly, I think debating this kind of stuff is a bit dumb considering the way cultivation novels usually go. Whenever the protagonist gets in trouble, they just make a timely breakthrough or pull some super powerful trump card out of nowhere. Any author that even tries to have their protagonist conform to the power system is already being unconventional.
