This situation is kinda tricky. You see the protagonist is working with Erik, but vio’s family is high key trash so I can see where Erik is coming from. Seeing how the story seems to be sending a mesaage of just because there are bad people in the midst doesn’t mean they are all bad the protag might be nice. But it’s also flipping the whole villain thing so the protag might be a d*ck
I don’t know if they really are good people… because the dragon riders were already instated evem before the incident that’s supposed to happen at the prince’s birthday… so maybe it was all planned already (the war, they just needed an excuse hence riling up the prideful Lasserhein heir; Lasserhein sicks assassins to the princess)

I can’t get over how Vio read the story as a manga, yet can’t recognize the protagonist on sight lol.
